Just now learned that Dolly had a brother and that brother recorded this song before Alabama. Rarely ever do I like alternate versions of songs I know and love from other artists. I know he sang it first but I heard Alabama sing it first. I love Randy's performance, but, I still love Alabama's the most. Who knows, If I had heard this performance first, maybe I would have loved it more.
Our family was on vacation many years ago and was at Dollywood. We watched Randy’s show and after the show he came outside with us and walked around the park. We had a nice time Randy was very friendly and spoke very highly of his family. Rest In Peace Randy.

Dolly said once in an interview that all 11 of her siblings had every bit the talent she did, but she was just driven toward hard work and the goal of being a star the so much. . I’m not sure if she was being kind and generous to her family or if it was really true, but they all could sing and were musicians.
