Luke, thank you for testing our FIRE LD Driver. I think you did a great job filming it! Here are a few comments on some of your comments. We make 4 different FIRE Drivers. They all have different face thicknesses. The FIRE LD has the thickest face because it is used at normally very high swing speed in the Sport of Long Drive. The other 3 face thicknesses are the FIRE PRO, X and XX versions. These are the normal playing versions and you would see, at your swing speed, a much better performance because of loft and the fact that the face thickness is better for your swing speed. I know it can be confusing on why we make 4 face thicknesses, but the simple science is that very slow swing speeds should not be forced to hit thick faced drivers like virtually all the drivers on the market. It is not fair to them. Love to see you test a FIRE PRO or FIRE X at your swing speed at the proper loft for your swing. Thanks again for testing it!

I have a question about the LD head. I'm gonna get one here real quick no matter what cause im tired of blowing through a head or 2 a year, but I was wondering how it might perform when I try to do knock down shots. Where I lower my speed down to like 115 chs I like to just play a different shot rather then carry a 3-wood. I play on course in the high 120s and peak around 138-40.

You probably need 25 - 30 mph minimum more clubhead speed to get the most out of that list. Lots of the long drive guys use really light flex these days out of interest. Martin for example uses a shaft that essentially a light regular shaft

Recently purchased Krank Fire XX. My swing speed about 80-85. The club did not disappoint. My drives now about 30-40 yards further and the occasional at 50 yards. I have always hit straight, and this club is no different except the added distance I am seeing.

Update after using this driver for the last half of our golf season. My drives are 40-50 yards farther and have now hit a few over 300 yards, longest 314, which I have not done in 14 years or so. Two of my Left hand golf buddies in men's league have both purchase their own as they all have had marked increase in yardage. It is amazing to watch the ball launch off the club face.

Long drive champion Martin Borgmeier said that he does not use a stiff shaft but regular.

First shot that your friends hits. Is only 175 mph, that's the parameters that they use on tour. The 190 is kmh!

It’s kinda annoying that these clubs are impossible to find rn. I have a fairly fast swing speed my drives go about 340-360 depending if it’s hit pure. But can’t find any of these right now because everyone who hits it 260-290 think they need it now

your swing speed would be better suited for their F11 driver not the LD

It’s hardly affair test to compare the loft in Bryson uses versus your standard lofted gamer. Why not take and get a nine or 10.5° head and put it in the same shaft As what you would use and get it set up the same so you can make an actual comparison of two drivers with the same loft and the same flex of shaft. That way you can get a true comparison or an actual performance. We’re going out something at five or 6° versus something else up at 9° or greater does not make much sense. Especially if you’re swing speed is not like Brysons

I did recently hit the latest formula xx driver (200-260 yard version) non conforming club and I was vastly underwhelmed. First the sound is absolutely awful imo. Extremely high pitched and tingy and it just sounds very cheap. That would be fine if it performed as promised. I put it against my stealth 2 plus and not once did it manage to out drive the Taylormade and to make matters worse it’s dispersion was way worse as well. I really hoped this driver was going to live up to its billing and I really gave it my best effort but to no avail. Save your money, don’t believe the hype. I should’ve known this was a scam because the moment you try and post an independent review you cannot find anywhere to do so. Their customer service post sale is non existent but overwhelmingly present when you are browsing. There is no posted guarantee, warranty or return policy on their website. A complete scam.
