Hi Swetha, ❤ your spontaniety. Re. Space under staircase, when we built our house, we asked them to convert into a small closet like a coat closet.
Also, they first complete insulation for walls facing outside inside walls usually have no insulation so just drywall, taping and it moves super fast. Hopefully they can move fast. Also ceiling they usually don’t do same type fillers as walls except where special electric fixtures are planned. Hope this helps a bit. Best wishes!
