Thanks for your help man. My friend had an Amazon Fire HD 10 (9th Generation) lying around and I was able to help him install the Google Play Store on it because of that. I was also able to help him replace the TH-cam app my friend didn’t know about with the one we were all familiar with on all of our devices. You deserve more subs for this tutorial.
Thanks, finally it works for my Fire HD 8 2022 after some fail (I chose the wrong versions so I had to uninstall 4 apps several times). So you need to select the version suggested in the geek site.
Thank you for the steps at a slower pace, it really helped! Everything worked exactly as it should. My daughter's tablet is now moving like pond water transitioning between apps BUT we only use it for 2 things so we'll deal with the lag. Thanks again!!
@@UndergroundTech Yes, much slower. Sometimes there's a delay of up to 20 seconds from when you touch the app icon to when it actually opens. Once the app opens it's okay but the transition between is painfully slow. But in it's defense, it's several years old...not dinosaur old but still. The Fire tablets aren't the most robust so I took it as par for the course.

Parsing Error FIX: It is the version of Google Play (GP) you are trying to install. Go to an earlier "date" of the current apk version. I tested (as of 2024): Apr 1st -error March 29 -error March 28 -success March 25- success I DID NOT TEST PAST MARCH 25, 2024 Note: -Initially I did factory resets (FR) for April 1, then decided no more FR after attempt 7 -I did NOT delete the 3 other service links -I restarted after deleting defective GP apk (not reinstalling the previous 3 services) -March 28th worked after 3rd "older" (legacy) mirror link... on the first try. -I did NOT need to restart, login page of GP prompted after GP install from Download (DL) folder. Hope this helps!

Thanks so much, I followed this step by step, without these instructions I would have never been able to do this !, it took me about 30 mins because it kept displaying errors, I now have Google play and it works ! Why do Amazon make it so difficult, I wish I has stuck with Apple.

@@MrYoke856 Keep tryinging differnt versions. I had the same issues on trying to open the vending file, so went back and went down the list of vending files and kept downloading and opening until one worked.
Ok, but after a week or so the tablet is going so slow and other problems crop up practically each day. May be both system clash with each other. Is a shame, because I have downloaded all my favs aps that are missing from Amazon store. Just checked on the web how many people have had this problem. One of them said" the difference is just like Night an Day. I couldn't bare how every thing slowed down. So I reset the tablet to the original Amazon settings.
I have Fire HD 10 (7th gen) I try installing an app on play store, and it asks me for Permissions that the app wants, and I accept them, but it's stuck on pending download, I try everything to get it to , like clearing the cache and data, and resetting the tablet but nothing works. My Internet is really good, my network settings are correct and all my apps are updated, and still nothing. Is there a fix to this?
Not "almost any". Just older versions - 2018 and earlier. I just got a 2023 tablet and FTB instructions said not to register it to your Amazon account, but if you don't, you can't get INTO settings at all to enable developer options or connect the tablet to your PC for file transfer...so, this didn't help.

it was because he was just hitting a source but not really telling us what he was hitting...when I install the 4 apk the last one comes up problem with a parsing package

I have been watching this video since Saturday! Still nothing. I have 2 tabs I'd like to put GP on. It is never said in one comment or in the vid that this could take MULTIPLE times before it works. If you have the time and own the tab already, I'd say give it a shot. But a better option is to find your nearest gadget guy and pay him $100 I swear its worth it. The steps are fairly easy but the fact that here he's using a newer gen (mine is a 7 gen) make quite a bit of difference when selecting the various options throughout the steps. Biggest recommendation: DONT BUY A FIRE TABLET IF YOU PLAN TO NEED GP!!
The thing is if you got your credit card information linked with your email when you will sign in on the Google Play Store: You will start seeing some random charges. Be careful

Yep at this point confusion as the video deviates from the guide and downloads a different android tv version of play services. There are clearer links to the right versions provided in other guides on the web from digitaltrends or lilputing for example. I dont know how much of a difference this makes to functionality or speed though, just an obvious difference in the video from the guides out there.

Whenever I try to download the last one it says "there was a problem parging package" can someone help me with this
When that happened to me, I went back to the Google Play Store download and downloaded the 2nd oldest version and then it worked fine.
