    Lynne here from Canada. So you were listening when Janie showed you how to make an espalier, with all the laughing 😂 going on I wasn’t sure. 😂
    Looks amazing.

    Summer’s my least favorite season too. I’m not here for baking temps. I garden a lot really early in the mornings.

    I just subscribed! I’ve been a subscriber to Janie on her channel on Dig, Plant & Repeat & thanks to her I discovered You ! I live in Central California I can totally relate to the heat, yuck! My home is centered at the end of a cul de sak, so my back yard is pie shaped…super wide, but slightly narrow. It’s currently established with 10 ft. spiral junipers, 3 fence baskets in between fill with various proven winters super tunias, more baskets behind the pool & side fence too! Plus a 16 ball olive tree surrounded with a sitting decorative concrete wall. I love how you described in detail the honeysuckle espalier. I want to do this soo bad next to my newly built side patio . However, I need to stain my entire fence first. Never thought about planting in the fall in perfect weather. Thanks so much for your content..so helpful. Greetings from sunny Central California !

    Hey Brent, nice work on the gate! The extended espalier looks so good. Love it on the black fence. Robbie, you made it look less intimidating as I thought it would be. It is going to be incredible in bloom. Love your posts. You are so inspiring.

    I did giggle when you mistakenly said you had your power tools then went on to list them starting with your sharpie. I know you corrected yourself but it just made me smile. Great video as always.

    You made that look EASY!!!! The only places I have to put one of those would be on concrete and I’m nervous I’d mess it up ! Lol great job… and THAT GATE! You and Brent have mad skills!!

      I have concrete that I don’t wants mess up either. I think I will dig long strong bamboo sticks to have those vertical, then use them to support my design which will not be wire, but twine instead. My design is still undecided and in still in the works as I won’t start mine till very early fall.

    Looks great! Feels so good to refresh a bed. I also really like the wildness of all the zinnias - should still get zinnia blooms for awhile. I need to pull out some of my stuff too though. It's a process for sure!

    Very pretty!! I'm in Sacramento and love seeing other gardens that can handle the hot wesrher. Is that a honeysuckle vine?

    Good Morning Robbie from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦. So happy to see you do another espalier...when you mentioned doing one by your driveway i had an ahh haa moment. Not having a place to do an espalier in my backyard i can certainly put one on the front fence of my driveway, thanks for the good idea and tutorial.

    Looks amazing 👌 I might make one using some sort of a thick string, it’s just way too hot where I live for wire to be touching a plant. So excited for fall 🎉

    I used star jasmine and it keeps burning. Do you know if honeysuckle would withstand full sun? Your fence looks great !

    Hi Robbie, I am going to create an espalier like yours on my back fence. Will you share the name of the honeysuckle that you used. I am in Western MA and wondering the best variety of honeysuckle to use.

    I so want to do that at my house, front of the house, but it’s a stucco finish, I’m afraid I’d mess it up 😮

    • @brendahayes3365
      @brendahayes3365 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Go for it, I have drilled into stucco lots, just buy the proper drill bit & voila! Try it in an inconspicuous are first to make sure you have the proper bit 😋

    Super HUMID???? Seriously? I just looked at the humidity level in Los Molinos, CA. It said 14%. Come to the east coast where it's 80% humidity. Get real, dude.
