This one is the best guide I've watched so far, Ive never been able to do any dc other than slight+dc+nlight, now i can slight+nlight+dc+nlight+etc. and more, still trying to practice this but thanks to this guide I can finally get started. Thank you!
you can start with wine and as you get good you may try beer and maybe even some vodka, there's also coffee but that's a very different thing altogether and some people will try to convince you to try tea but that's actually bs and will ruin you
it's important that it's white wine NOT red wine because if you're playing mako she may mistake it for blood and you may end up losing control over your legend because of her instincts
There are 9 finishers total, as each directional input gets a unique one from the bridge (so like side bridge into down finisher is different from neutral bridge into down finisher), 4 bridges (neutral light gets 2 unique bridges from side and down, whereas the down and side bridge will always be the same unless coming from a startup that is the same directional input, which will result in a finisher). Pretty fucking sick weapon and I like took an hour to find out every possible combo of start-bridge-finisher, which I believe I found there were 21
its actually 18 because 3 options for opener, 2 for bridge (-1 since u cant repeat ur opener or else it goes into a finisher), 3 options for finisher, so 3x2x3=18
@@ky_k_9760 that would be minus one for each of the 3 openers, so actually 3 (for each opener) x 2 (possible bridges, for instance the opener being neutral, the bridges could be side or down) which would get you 6 however it is to note the side light bridge is reused as well as the down light bridge so you get 4 as each of those would remove a unique bridge. However, sole reason I got a different answer than you is because when I did type that all out I counted the double directional inputs as a possibility, which might be precisely what you’re saying, which would make sense as I did say start-bridge-finisher and forgot to mention the double inputs were counted as possible strings. Sorry I’m typing virtually my exact thought process, because doing that shit in training mode is boring and now that I’ve started typing I can’t see your comment so I’m also ranting to try and cover every base because I might have forgotten part of your comment
Oh yes I got to 4 then just jumped to explaining the difference in answers (sorry I’m gonna seem insane for a second and over analyze) anyway here’s what I did from there, those 4 bridges (total, another key difference because now that I look at it I did this a very difficult way and didn’t do a mathematical approach) act like the three starters except neutral just gets its bridge split in 2, however they result in the same finishers, so the 2 bridges of neutral acting as 1, and the side and down bridge, act as 3 possible bridges from any possible opening, each of which can give a set of 3 finishers from that, making up the 9 possibilities for finishers. Which now to me absolutely makes sense how you got 18, as I did this convoluted ass way of doing that simple math you did, as those 9, which is practically a choice of 3 once you have chosen the bridge, possible finishers come from said bridge, which was in it of itself 2 possible choices of 3 starters, however if you were like me you would have done 3 possible bridges, just 1 of those bridges is actually a finisher, meaning 2 possible sets of finishers from a bridge is cut out, which is a possibility of 3 choices from any set created by a bridge, which ultimately 3x2 was subtracted from my result of 3x3x3 (3^3) to get 21. That is we’re the difference lay, and if we were to start debating who’s more correct on my initial premise, you are undoubtedly correct as going from start to finisher is not exactly how I worded it, however I would argue 21 captures the entire scope of possibility as the starts that go directly into a finisher is all the slightest different from a bridge with the same directional input going into the same directional finisher. I will demonstrate verbally: side light to side light is visually different from neutral light into side light into side light because the side light bridge visual effects are slightly different from the side light starter. This serves absolutely zero gameplay difference other than throwing in the additional starter at the beginning but I think is just still notable when discussing how cool the design of the weapon is, no matter how minute the difference may be. I’m infinitely sorry for wasting your time as the calculation difference may have been due to the most negligible of things, but I just love this weapon a lot and like discussing the intricacies of its design. I’m actually mostly thankful for your recognition that the side finisher from the down bridge and the neutral bridge is in fact different because I spent a lot of time on frame step to determine that, and it could have heavily altered the results if you were to say it isn’t in fact 2 different possibilities, I believe you would have gotten something like 14 possibilities, but I haven’t done the math. Sorry I’m not mad at you or anything I might just be on the spectrum or something idfk
@@ky_k_9760 I know I’m commenting like crazy but I will give you a tldr because Jesus I went on another rant: I explained the difference in our calculation with not just one but two huge paragraphs. I’m not mad I think I just spend too much time on the internet and am possibly autistic. Thank you for the interaction
Yo holy hell man that weapon toss turn around and dash cancel combo is gonna save my ass. Many thanks your channel is underrated as hell, mako/magyar main
Thanks Alot Michael! tNice tutorials is a great video, I've been looking for an alternative to Logic pro x for a wNice tutorialle now because logic pro x and apple
Thanks man helped me a lot I want to get my gameplay on the next level(Im stucked 2100+ peek 2300) and for that I need to learn and understand every weapon. Gs is basicly the most complex weapon in the game... now I know how this weapon works:)
If you are playing controller it's gonna be a lot harder, you have to chasedodge pivot, so on keyboard hold aim up and reverse the direction, on controller I think you hold the stick diagonally up and in
Its tough on controller but its possible, hardymj actually plays on controller himself, the hardest part I would think is the reverse nlight chase dodge cancel. If im not mistaken if you set your controller to where the up position of the joystick is aim up and not jump you can hold it diagonal up and in it should make it a little bit easier.
@@gilliamtv5317 omg, this comment just saved me! btw love your guide, im not even 11min in and I've already replayed it a countless times. keep up the great work
