For years now I've been recording video game soundtracks on cassette tape and I've been leaving them at thrift stores this is one of my favorites if anyone's bought a cassette tape with the soundtracks in northern Oregon you may have one my copies
It's hilarious to me how there are at least two direct references to Emerson, Lake, and Palmer in this soundtrack. Most of Boss Theme 1 is exactly the same note-for-note from about 11 minutes into Tarkus, and Electric Field is also taken directly from Tarkus as well. Kind of like how the game over music from Super R-Type has a ton of Highway Star from Deep Purple in it. Sadly not enough well-known game composers took inspiration from bands like that.

I think someone actually did this once long ago, but for reasons unknown the video got deleted. Nice job btw.
I love Water Gate. It's my favorite song from the game and it's been stuck in my head since like 4th/5th grade.
As a kid I could never get past water so that theme stuck with me
