Yes, it's pure gift..I like the way Marcelito sing this song..Maybe you have perfect version of this, but I prefer his version because it's not even easy to sing a duet song (all by himself).. Amazing gifted man..#MarcelitoPomoy ..Proud of you..😘👍👍😘🥰
The word you were looking for is “head voice”. And about your comment and preferring that he should sing with someone else, what he is currently doing is actually a traditional singing in the Philippines called “Doble-Kara”. But minus the half-half costume that doble-kara singers wear in the Philippines. So no, he shouldn’t do a duet with someone else just because you’re missing the harmony. He is keeping a style of Filipino singing alive. A cultural thing that isn’t seen often anymore as it was back in the day. Also too much ego attached. Relax a little bit. While staying educational and strict while staying neutral. You’re letting a lot of personal preferences take over a video instead of focusing on the technical and artistic side of things more. Who cares what voice you prefer from Dimash. It’s not a choice, it’s their brand of singing and their art. Not a standard that should or shouldn’t be for you or your students. They are artists. If you want to make this more educational, lose a bit of the ego and yourselves, and more on technical and artistic parts while still letting them be what they are instead of trying to mold artists into your own style or preferences. There’s just too much things about yourselves not enough on the art of singing itself. Just my 2 cents. I’m a nobody. 😊
drfdwf, I agree with you regarding the girl Melia about her EGO. Just because she's a Vocal Coach, she has the audacity to give an unsolicited and degrading comments. And I guess she's also jealous/envy with the Philippines that is full of Singers Locally and Internationally known compared to her compatriots. That's why she's trying tp demean Pilipino Singers. I heard their Duet of Drivers License and in my opinion nothing but mediocre and not even Live, compared to Marcelito on the Wishbus, wherein all singers are doing it Live. Maybe they don't know that the Singer of Drivers License, Olivia Rodrigo, is Half-Filipino.
use of the thang technique, use of vibrato impressive, marcelito sings with a voice head mix, always remains in resonance head mix, always stays between the third and fourth octave, then when he needs power he alternates the male and female head mix for go beyond the fourth octave of a note,I'm impressed because I'm Italian, I've been singing as a tenor for over 38 years.
It is my understanding that he learned to sing by hearing others music and mimicking their voice. He grew up on the streets and he used to sing so he wouldn’t feel so alone.
Meliafrom where are you ?you probably grew up in America right? So don’t compare yourselves to Marcelito who grew up in the street and did’nt have proper Education like you guys. Can you guys, sing like him?with two voice?
the "superflat" which you downgraded later on to "minutely audible flats" are due to the style he chose (like the slides and celine-like vowels); and pop singing is different from classical also. Technically you may be right, but the styles he chose for me made him sound better. If he sang it the way you wanted him to sing it, it may turn out "lame" and "ordinary". I hope you get what i mean....sometimes it is about sounding "better" as opposed to sounding "correct". As you said- it is a matter of preference. Peace!
He is self taught, never had a lesson in his life . Lived on the streets from an early age as he was abandoned. He sang as its something he loved. He has quite a story if you read up about it.
Please do a cover of this song guys, it might be PERFECT.... and we Pilipinos do the reactin, esp. you melia, This video is all about Marcelito,, dont compare him to any singer. Next time do not do reaction to any Pilipino singer.....
Doing duets by himself alone is what made him famous. 🙃 That’s what sets him apart from all other great singers. You guys saying that you prefer him to sing one part of the song only is like telling him to lose his trademark.
Doing a two character to sing as duet is a masterpiece. Its a hard part. I dont blame some other people are make critiques, id like to here from you as what marcelito did sing, the good way in two character so we can here from you the true or how to sing it right.
I'm a music teacher (30 years) and have very good relative pitch. Marcelito is not in tune all of the time, but it is not to the detriment of his performance. Some performers are painful to listen to, as they are sooo out of tune. Marcelito is fine. Listen to his entire performance (and other songs) before trying to 'fix' his intonation.
I have perfect pitch and I agree. Some notes are a little under pitch, but they’re not completely flat or off. IMO his “flatness” (I’d call it more just a bit under pitch at times) is not as flat as Melia makes it seem to be, but that’s my opinion. I am glad though they are sharing their critiques and opinions since many voice teacher reactions to this have no critical substance and they’re just blown, as they should be lol, but still.
He has an accent and barely knows english lol he mimi what he heard and yall teachers create yall own tones. Like Celine Dion has always been flat and sung from her nose.
Indeed, those who cannot practice, teach...and those who cannot perform, criticize...and those who cannot act, react. That's true in every field, in every profession, in every career, in every industry, in every art. That's made more manifest & real in this reaction video.
find me a person in this whole universe who can sing that kind of song sitting down better than him in a duet, you win but if you cannot find anyone (CASE CLOSED) MARCELITO WINS
In the first place, nobody taught him how to "sing correctly". He learned it by listening. The mere fact that he did it on his own makes him stand out. You two turn us off. Not finishing this video.
Somehow I knew I was going to hate these peoples reaction after watching them do Morissite. These two who are unknown and with no discernible talent are harsh on those who are relatively well known. At least way more well known than those the react to.
I have seen a ton of reaction videos on this piece by Marcelito from more experienced senior vocal coaches, and not once did I hear them say about him being flat and all your other critiques.
Interesting discussion on the flatness. I think he's also holding back a bit of his energy for those booming Bocelli parts, like a runner warming up for a sprint. He sounds gorgeous in both voices, I'm just gobsmacked by his ability to do both of these parts at the same time. Phenomenal.
Lol none of you guys know what singing is like then. Singing is super technical and if it’s profession we’re talking about, delivery will always be about AIMING for the perfect pitch. That doesn’t mean you can’t be an amazing singer if you fall flat or over the top sharp. Singers always have off key moments. You might want to check the purpose of this channel again, which is literally for teaching people how to sing.
Wow! Do you really know what you’re talking about? I’ve read hundreds of reactions from very good voice teachers and a lot of very very good reactors who are very technical when it comes to music and singing and none have said he is “very, very flat”. Wow! I can’t believe you said that.
To be honest I didn't enjoy your criticisms he is a self-taught singer who has never had any professional training and I feel he is doing stuff neither of you are capable of with all your training just my opinion but but you asked for it
i've been viewing to many reactions from vocal coaches & singers about marcelito... they are super amazed & impressed...u are the only ones who say he's flat! what are you...SUPER PERFECT hard to please vocalists? Mark my word, this is gonna be the first and last time i would ever view this channel!
How about you two sing the same song and lets compare which one is better. His version (alone) who have no proper training? Or your version, who have a proper training and experience?
ive been listening to music for over 40 years and never heard one person doing a duet (males and females) part and make it sound like two different persons singing and doing it that good. every time i hear him sing im in shock and ah because its not normal. its actual unheard of.
That was quite the analysis! I'm trying to sing in the same way Marcelito does. If you didn't know - he hadn't had any voice lessons. I could (and have) listened to him sing all day. I am intrigued by his abilities.
Yeah but this video was taken years after he’s already won PGT and has sang many many times on ASAP, showtime tv shows etc…and most artists have a vocal coach already. What you’re saying is just an excuse now. He has the experience, the lessons to better himself. But obviously not all artists are perfect. So what we can say is that Marcilito is a growing artist and learning to master his craft
Like me none of you know Marcelito or what training he has had or hasn’t after PGT. But knowing how much money and time he gives to charitable endeavors I highly doubt he would want to spend excessive amounts to vocal coaches. Why can’t people just enjoy his talent and story without being critical.
Dont know where you guys get the AUDACITY to react to Marcelito `s cover , after hearing and seeing you singing in your video , his male" and "female" voice is 100 times better than yours.
Melia sang driver's license and there's nothing special about it. They then criticized morrissette's cover of the same song to feel better about their cover
My take to this two is...go and applied in BGT....AGT.. or X-factor ...and let see if any of them be recognized...lets just see how they will be at parbwith others......you two ..try it....we will wait n watch.....give yourself a chance....
explanations and critique are fine and ok, but when that drags on and on for a longer time than the song itself, and when it criticizes song choices (like using celine's style) and even suggesting that he would be better of when not switching voices but doing one voice correctly (at least that is the feeling i got from those comments) it becomes annoying. and even when afterwards saying that it wasn't meant in a bad way and he didn't sing completely bad, that doesn't change much about what i perceived for half an hour in a reaction to a much shorter song. ps: maybe you could technically sing it better, but i don't think that even with two people you could give us the feeling to hear Andrea and Celine.
I am confused, how these two are finding so called many flaws in his singing,I have watched many reaction videos from real professional vocal coaches, and none of them were this critical and condescending.I will not make the mistake of clicking on this channel again.
Different people will see different things, sometimes some people will see something but not see it as a big enough deal to comment on. Some people try to be overly nice to please viewers. And other people objectively see different things.
I am also confused. I just watched their reactions to Dimash's SOS and Olimpico. They said that he struggled with a note (mid-range for him), his note was flat and almost out of tune, and he ran out of breath. So I decided to check out this one. I feel a little bad that they received a lot of angry comments from both Dimash and MP's fans, but also feel that they might not be knowledgeable enough to evaluate those artists.
Omg...you guys talk more about comparing yourselves to someone who is just self taught .. . while you guys obviously went to school to learn to learn how to sing....HE IS GIFTED. You should just be grateful listening to someone like him...sheesh.
based on your reaction, analysis and criticism, we challenge you both to sing LIVE "The Prayer". then your viewers will judge if it's as good as Marcelito's version... you're too technically perfectionist that you don't know how to listen and enjoy the talent that he has...
ABSOLUTELY!! Also, they can't sing together, they each have to do the male/female voices, sing in 2 languages, sitting down AND Live. I would love to see that, then we can all compare. Marcelito's talent is God given!
@TIMOTHY CHANDLER people nowadays feels like if they love or keen on something, they are an expert. The fanatics with lots of bias and cannot take criticism. This guys are vocal teachers. They know all the technicality through experience, training and school. I dont know why most people here butthurt when hear criticism. It is a good reflection. I think this trend when people suggest video to make sure others will have the same view as them. At least what we can say that this yoituber is sincere and honest. And not really here to gain sympathy and views, but to educate. I love Marcelito Pomoy rendition of the Prayer but I am just a newb in music. Just an avid good music listener and impressed of people's talent
What do you expect?? They are critics.. if you don't like it you don't have to watch.. and you don't have a good singer to have your opinion on a singer..
@@daisuke910 As you have said theyre the expert why dont they give as sample of singers songs they critisized and show us how the song should have been sung. If theyre really that perfect. Actually theyre doing samples of what they think is not right and they sounded awful than with the singers theyre critisizing. They sounded terrible and more disgusting.
Delia judging in the beginning like a pro, it's 'superflat'🤣🤣 to singing like an amateur because she finally heard he is so perfect and she sounds so ordinary🤣🤣
His story is that he was orphaned at the age of 7ys old, he was living on the street alone. when he was 14 he realized he can sing and by imitating what he hears and saw on tv.
@@mariecel4096 i dont watch any of their reaction anymore.. hahaha, just came in since i got some notification but, these guys didnt get the kind of stuff Marcelito does, and come to think of it, these guys cant even sing two voices in one.. the way she said her comments is just she is full of herself.
I have seen a couple of them say that he was getting flat towards the end or that he was losing the female tone toward the end which is true. But overall he’s doing something much harder than most other singers doing and he’s fabulous and should be commended for it.
@@coriange123 indeed very well said 😆cant wait them to show us what they got on voice capability and ability😁....honestly,just ashamed though how they reacted on Filipino singers not just Marcelito only they seem too talented on their reactions the fact that they are not known for themselves on the big stage I dont know them in anyways but let just see what they got infront of Simon on AGT 😆
Most confusing reaction🤔. You call yourselves " a voice teachers" and no clue about the difference of counter tenor and soprano? Won't be attending your class...lol🤣. Guy's self taught and I've never seen like this talent before. Singing two different voices, two different languages (not his) and sitting down. He's just on his own league. Hat's off to you Marcelito 👍.
Tell me about it, I don't appreciate reactors who doesn't appreciate raw talent. I don't hear the flatness and frankly I don't give a crap for all the talk of techniques. Who freaking cares. Marcelito can be flat anytime cause I'm pretty sure his talent lies more in his ability to switch voices. Tell me someone else who can do that so effortlessly.
@@lucya7404 Talking about technique and how to sing is literally what our whole channel is about. I understand if that is not for you, but when you say "Who freaking cares", it is singers.... singers care. 🤷🏻♂️
@@ChaseandMelia Damn I guess its a slow reaction day.... you are right your channel how you deal with it is your issue. I will just totally run when I see your videos.
@@dehribaissa3024 they can get their point across just like we and get areas pint across. Put some of their perfect songs out there and then they can criticize.
@@dehribaissa3024 auhhh plsssss, we know they can, but plsss put your ego aside when recting to someone. And to tell Marcelito to to sing only one voice? It is the same as telling him to not sing at all. DUAL VOICE is his thing ya know.
Really of all the things to say about MARCELITO POMOY you say a lot of negative comments. Of all the decades of listening to great singers, he is a truly unique singer. Thousands of professional vocal coaches, teachers, and so on have never pointed that he sings flat. They do point out how difficult it is to go from female voice to male voice and it is simply astounding. I could go on and on, but I will say this there are millions of people who appreciate his talent. People admire him, for a man who grew up on the streets of the Philippines, homeless, and penniless. He also taught himself how to sing, with no technical training. My question is who are you? Have you had that much difficulty in your life?
Why do you feel so personally insulted by their comments, which by the way are totally correct. He is in fact flat on some notes, yet that doesn’t make him a bad singer. They are totally amazed by him, yet just point out minor mistakes. Marcelito is a one of a kind talent, yet was a little flat sometimes in this performance (who cares it happens to every great singer). Very childish to question their lives just because they point out some notes, because they never disrespect or not admire him in this particular reaction do they now? As u yourself said: he is a self-taught singer with almost no technical training, so doesn’t it makes sense that he might have some minor ‘mistakes’ here and there?
:@@FrisoJacobs First of all, if one resorts to name-calling who is being 'CHILDISH " . In this open format/arena expect a challenge if you don't agree with a certain commentary. If you think we (the readers) have to sit back and say nothing if one disagrees, you are wrong. Secondly," minor mistakes" as you put it why even bother commenting on it? The things Marcelito has done are amazing. There is one person who did a reaction to Marcelito's video, and she has all the credentials and rights to criticize and all she had to say was positive comments. Everything Macelito has done far outweighs his short commings and that is how I remember Marcelito Pomoy.
For the people in the comments: DISAGREEMENTS ARE NOT GROUNDS FOR DISRESPECT. I think people care more about spectacle than substance. Marcelito’s singing here is not unimpressive by any means- singing in a character voice takes time and skill of sorts. However, when there are flaws or imperfections, there is no wrong in voicing that. They’re critiques as trained voice teachers with practical experience in the field is valid. After all it’s the teachers that are most often behind the greatest voices. Yes they have their preferences, but once again: DISAGREEMENTS ARE NOT GROUNDS FOR DISRESPECT.
First of all, he's singing like Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli. He's had no professional teaching, and he sings two languages that he doesn't know. He's been on his own since he was 7 years old and he can sing like that. You guys should show each of you, how you would go from a female voice to a male voice, in English and in Italian with perfection. What are you trying to prove? I've listened to other voice teachers and it looks like you guys are trying to be the most critical you can be from all others. Let's see you do it and show your video, each of you separately. Thumbs down and no subscribing.
yeah theyre obviously very very jealous. I mean its clear as day. Dude singing "near" perfect in 2 languages hes not a native speaker of, then she tries to say hes flat then sings a bit of it to "show"us how it sounds when its not flat, and hers sounds so so much worse than his. Now near the end the dude is even talking about his vowels and shit while singing Italian not even thinking like hey dude he doesn't speak the language so yeah his vowels and the way he pronounces Italian isnt perfect lol. Bottom line is they both on multiple times try to sing what hes singing to "show" the issue with his *actually their ego talking trying to show off* when in reality neither of them could come close to his singing. The chick you can see it on her face the moment it starts its like shes pissed off at how good he sounds singing in a female voice. I mean on rewatch they realized how bad it sounded they should have just re recorded it after realizing that they didn't sound anywhere near as good as him, saying hes flat I didn't hear him being flat and I am a singer. No where near as good as Marcelito but I hear maybe once or twice where you could maybe argue hes SLIGHTLY flat, they spent 10 mins talking about how flat he is. That can only be from envy IMO.
@@BigBones187 or ur just jumping into conclusions no ones jelouse lmao their right hes flat in some notes hes still human and there is no such thing as a perfect singer if u dont like critics then dont watch they are voice teachers they will call out mistakes not bc they dont like it bc its their job so stop being a sore loser and hating on there for doing their jobs lol
This channel is like watching a nurse telling a qualified surgeon how to do his job.😀😀😀😀especially after watching her singing, I will crown her the KARAOKE QUEEN.🙏🏾🙏🏾
I am so much disappointed of what I've heard, many people says marcelito sings well but you two always become perfectionist every single word. It is how he truly express himself and his own way of delivering the song. He find his tone and there's nothing wrong about it. #SorrynotSorry #Marcelitosaysitall

@@stargrrl__ I think I heard pretty much all of them. And the good ones name the weak points precisely as well as recognize the techniques that are used. And I'm not a fan of Mr. Pomoy, by the way. Check their channel, there is a duet on it. 😂😂 From there, i can say that the voice of marcelito doing female voice if far good that this girl saying superflat, 😂😂😂😂
I don't sing. I'm tone deaf. However, as a Pinoy, I expect any singer to start singing a song by emulating the recording, syllable by syllable, tone for tone, pitch for pitch, including the idiosyncracies. Finally, you (@Chase and Melia) understood this version of The Prayer at the 14:40 mark. It's a wonderful feeling when you finally understand where it's coming from. Personally, I haven't heard Marcelito sing his heart out in his own voice. I agree with Melia that Marcelito should sing his heart out in his natural baritone. Again, I don't know music theory, but I agree with Melia about the "super flat" thing. On a side note, one of the most popular female Pinoy concert singers, Pops Fernandez, goes flat on a lot of her live concert songs. Her singing is very emotional. Chase's comment at 23:10 didn't mention it, but in my opinion, Marcelito sings this version at half-voice almost throughout. I agree that he does not push it enough. Also, supposedly, this "party trick" started in the 1920's in the Philippines, and is called "doble cara." It was revived in the 1970s and 1980s lounge acts by gay entertainers, because they can. I learned a lot from your video. More power, guys!
Why don't you guys listen closely and let him do his own thing!? Otherwise he's already famous all over the country and the whole world!!? Are you guys too perfect?? how I wish!!!
marcelito pomoy did an excellent job. Almost no one can sing the two different styles at the same time. Bringing up where he is from, the philippines, it definately is a hard life but the Filipinos are some of the most loving people on earth so I can see where he comes by his music as they have it playing night and day there to lift their souls..great job marcelito and God bless you and your people..
He is from the Philippines and he is doing English and Italian perfectly. I have to say if you guys can sing in both languages please show us. I would love to see it.
I wouldn’t say he’s doing Italian “perfectly” (I am Italian) but yeah he’s pretty good. And they are not judging his accent, they’re judging his type of singing. I really don’t understand why you guys are getting so touchy over some critique 🤦🏽♀️
So many people offended in the comments. 😓 I'm a Filipino too, but they're right. _I'm not saying Marcelito is not a good singer. That's also not what Chase and Melia meant._ I personally enjoyed the objective analysis. Hope you guys continue reacting to Filipino artists. 😊
You’re watching someone who could do something that 99% of the world can’t do and all you can pick on is that he sounds flat? You’re full of yourself that you can’t even see the talent in front of you. You spend over 5 min just to speak about his flat and other negatives that you missed the whole point. Could’ve been positive about the whole entire experience but you’ve just jaded the whole experience. You lost me as a subscriber. Chase is far more objective.
Your vocal coaching analysis is not what I was hoping for, but rather your amazement and astonishment by his vocal abilities considering he never even had a single vocal lesson.
He doesn’t sound flat to me. There are a few times when he seems just a little bit off, especially as he runs out of breath or just before a transition to the other voice. I suspect it’s partly that he’s getting a breath and quickly rearranging his vocal structures. After all, achieving the impossible isn’t easy. I don’t see how it could be done better. This is an extraordinary performance and his voice is gorgeous. I think you agree. I don’t know if you realize it, but there is a Philippine tradition of men singing in two voices, so it’s not strange there. He is singing in two foreign languages, which must add even more difficulty. He is not classically trained, he is self-taught. His little gesture at the end isn’t a yawn, he explained that he was spitting out Celine Dion.
hey Guys, you know most of the singers in the Philippines does not have any Bachelors Degree in singing like you have ,But they are still very good in singing technique. Can you sing how he sings can you? that's a challenge!!!!! and so many apprecciate how he does.Peace.....

I really don't understand how a lot of people in the comment section are hating on this reaction - these two are trained vocal coaches and part of vocal lessons is technique and intonation. Just because other reactors are sometimes too scared to touch on anything "negative" doesn't mean there are not things that can be improved. Being "critical" - which is actually trying to help a person in sounding healthier and more free in order to have endless vocal possibilities - is literally part of their job. And that does not mean that Marcellito is not amazing at what he does. He is an amazing singer who has a beautiful voice. And I didn't get the vibe that any of them thought differently. So thank you for your reaction. I really liked your points of view and your opinions.
Oh please stop the hate comments. They reacted based on what they know and taught and from what they heard. Plain as it. Stop being so sensitive about everything. Lets be more open
And we can no confuse things: you are singing theacher - you are not si gera. You know how to sing, how to teach and help people to sing. You don't need to perform better than your pupils to teach them and to help them to improve. Well done! Good work!
Some people seriously is narrow-minded their reaction is much better than evry reactor I've seen. I'm a Filipino and I can't even be mad at their reaction.
I am Filipino and actually don't mind if you criticise him. It's your opinion and it's how you heard it. I am thankful for spending time listening to him and making this video possible :D
The "yawn" at the end was not a yawn....on the radio show they were talking about him swallowing celine, so that was him spitting her back up for their amusement.
You have finally understood that he is not flat, because he is self-taught, he lived on the street from the age of 7 to 28, abandoned by his family whom he found later thanks to his celebrity... and he learned to sing on his own to eat every day its like that he sings both voices so well which is rare to do, he first sang Céline Dion then Andréa and then he did both with the cool swich ... and this is how a woman spot her in the street and marry her and he has a girl and does america's got talent ect... and is in demand all over the world these days because he has this unique ability to do all the voices he just has to listen to a person sing and then he does the same lol... with his head voice and his chest voice, and sitting down, it's not his embarrassment because necessarily in the street he was singing like that.. . another seated will have a harder time singing lol... here's the info and he comes from the Philippines....

Ha! Thanks! We're hope you got something from it! 😊
drfdwf, I agree with you regarding the girl Melia about her EGO.
Well said I definitely agree.
Correct
Preach😂🤣😍
come on let us here you sing this piece
First time hearing a reaction looking for perfection instead of being amaze that a person can sing two voices
Totally agree.
Totally agree!
Plus their own singing is FAR from perfect.
@@erictheman5992 I agree
They talked rubbish they cannot do what marcelito can do
use of the thang technique, use of vibrato impressive, marcelito sings with a voice head mix, always remains in resonance head mix, always stays between the third and fourth octave, then when he needs power he alternates the male and female head mix for go beyond the fourth octave of a note,I'm impressed because I'm Italian, I've been singing as a tenor for over 38 years.
It is my understanding that he learned to sing by hearing others music and mimicking their voice. He grew up on the streets and he used to sing so he wouldn’t feel so alone.
Wow you are the first reaction I encountered to tell Marcelino got a flat note on his vowels
It took 32 minutes to tear apart a guy from P.I. that doesn't speak English and is singing in English and Italian. Good Job!
Lol. I agree! Pathetic.
Peace!
You are absolutely correct. This lady is talking about her style if singing. Period.

Doing duets by himself alone is what made him famous. 🙃 That’s what sets him apart from all other great singers. You guys saying that you prefer him to sing one part of the song only is like telling him to lose his trademark.

Before u say something let him sing first....
Exactly.
There is ...they can watch all PM videos
@@tkrc1888 Agreed, the flatness that she says was not really flat by definition, its not just dead center like what Melia wanted to be.
Indeed, those who cannot practice, teach...and those who cannot perform, criticize...and those who cannot act, react.

That's made more manifest & real in this reaction video.
He is self taught. His mother abandoned him when he was 7 yrs. old. He had to live on the streets. Lesson to his story. So sad.

MARCELITO WINS
Marcelino wins because he has no professional training,...just pure gift,...hope you understand what pure gift is!
he did the little "yawn" at the end because his producer was kidding him about his "Celine" voice, so he essentially was "spitting her out" lol
This is not a reaction video. This is how to sing this song if your a perfectionist.
Bobo
Interesting discussion on the flatness. I think he's also holding back a bit of his energy for those booming Bocelli parts, like a runner warming up for a sprint. He sounds gorgeous in both voices, I'm just gobsmacked by his ability to do both of these parts at the same time. Phenomenal.
This.
This two is being too perfectionist why dont you just sing and be a famous if you really know how to sing ..
I think this two hate filipino singers. Maybe they listen to sixties song so much that they don't appreciate today's singer.
True those morons like those two is useless for sure
yup FLAT (^-^)....
True🤣🤣
Wow! Do you really know what you’re talking about? I’ve read hundreds of reactions from very good voice teachers and a lot of very very good reactors who are very technical when it comes to music and singing and none have said he is “very, very flat”. Wow! I can’t believe you said that.

You two are insane...not valid for being as a reactor...a lot of interupting for nothing...

That was quite the analysis! I'm trying to sing in the same way Marcelito does. If you didn't know - he hadn't had any voice lessons. I could (and have) listened to him sing all day. I am intrigued by his abilities.
In defense of Marcelito , he grew up very poor and didn’t have voice lesson. Self thought like most Pilipino singers.

People that criticize others are ways to validate their own insecurities and to reaffirm the negative perception they have of themselves.
I agree.

He sings better than most so-called professional singers! Regardless if he's self-taught or not.

First of all, if one resorts to name-calling who is being 'CHILDISH " .

He is from the Philippines and he is doing English and Italian perfectly. I have to say if you guys can sing in both languages please show us. I would love to see it.
And on key, and with two totally different beautiful voices, male and female, and switching from a pop sound to a classical sound.
Agree' Majes"🎤🎶👍
and he did not even have a proper education because his an orphane.
Ang pangit ng boses nyung dalawa kung makacritesize kau akala nyu kaya nyu tularan c marce!!
That's also not what Chase and Melia meant._
I personally enjoyed the objective analysis.
Dear, I challenge you to sing this song together ✌️😅 Teach us plsssssss.... Can't wait.
No, challenge them to sing this song solo.
Can you two do a cover of this song? let me see how amazing your techniques based on your critic..
hahaha, perfect comment, agree to this .. hahaha
Singing flat sometimes doesn’t make a person a bad singer or not. EVERY singer sings flat sometimes.
I listened to these two reactors singing voice 🤣🤣🤣
And like what the heck 🤣🤣🤣
You can tell that they can only talk too much but they cant execute what they preach. 🤣🤣🤣
Voice Teacher who? 🤣🤣🤣 Will definitely not listen or avail their services. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@ChaseandMelia unsubscribed
@@ChaseandMelia maybe there's a slight flat tbut not a super flat
Get a life both of you!!!! He is brilliant!! The best I heard all my life!!
sounds good to the rest of the world, its the talent, skill ability, show me anyone else that can do this, its not the "perfection" thats needed, who cares, he has a good range of voices
I mean once demonstrated y’all were correct about certain notes being audibly flat. Don’t listen to these crazy people who forfeit the truth for their biasness, I appreciate the honest reaction (you know, like they’re supposed to be.) 💗
@@sherwinobenza4531 Actually technically no they are extremely critical of themselves and their crafts and are the first to acknowledge a mistake. It’s okay to like an artist and be open to faults. Try it sometime.
Maybe this girl is perfect in singing....
I think a fanatic of those so called vocal coach or maybe one of their family member.
Oh please stop the hate comments. They reacted based on what they know and taught and from what they heard. Plain as it. Stop being so sensitive about everything. Lets be more open
Since you are talking about his singing it is important that you know he had zero voice training. He just listens and duplicates. 🎶👱♀️👗👠👠💓
Can you do a cover on this song, seems like you two are on the level based on your analysis and critic.
Ha ha ha
Hahaha straight up
Yeah 🤣😂
Hahaha
This lady re acted like she’s better than marcelito🤣🤣🤪
And we can no confuse things: you are singing theacher - you are not si gera. You know how to sing, how to teach and help people to sing. You don't need to perform better than your pupils to teach them and to help them to improve. Well done! Good work!
just like as the saying goes.. "Unlike singers and poet, teachers are made except the Lord Jesus".
Some people seriously is narrow-minded their reaction is much better than evry reactor I've seen. I'm a Filipino and I can't even be mad at their reaction.
TALENTED and GIFTED! Period!
Yes!!!!
CORRECT ✔️✔️✔️
The woman's first instinct is always to nitpick and downgrade. Look for faults. From the few videos I've watched on this channel. The guy knows how to pass his message across way better.
yeah she's not even an excellent singer or voice teacher ...🤣
True
Guys you should see his insane performances on America's got talent... Champions! absolutely insane!
Oops! Celine you know the Prayer is flat. This lady says so.
