Are they available in print still? I have a BAM near me, but couldn't find The Boys in their graphic novel section. I forgot about UA, or I would've checked.
Yes, there was an article about the Eiffel Tower framed in Reggie's office during the series premiere. And by now you know why they cannot remember saving the tower.
21:38 "The Jennifer incident"!! I've been waiting to hear about what that was about! It took me both watching the show myself, The Reel Rejects reaction and FINALLY your reaction where I made the connection with Ben and "The Jennifer Incident" that has been referenced so many times in reference to Ben's ultimate demise. 30:23 The other Jean is Megan Malally, Offerman's real-life wife.
I like that they did a time-jump, which was necessary due to Aidan Gallagher aging (he was 19 during production, same age as Five's physical age), and Viktor's voice changing due to Elliot Page evidently taking sexual reassignment hormones. And poor Lila, who had a punk style going during the previous two seasons, is reduced to mostly dressing like a frazzled mom in sweats and a puffy coat, her hair unkempt, and no makeup (other than Jean and Gene's meeting; yes, she wears a nice blouse during the party, but not as glamorous). I get a huge kick out of Diego wearing a shirt with pot leaves all over it to a children's party. However, weed is obviously legal there (as we see Allison and Lila inhaling from a vape), as it is in California where I live, so it's no different from wearing a top with martinis or glasses of wine in its design. Unfortunately, none are too happy with their respective lives. Viktor may run a successful bar, but his love life is apparently in the $#¡++£R. Five is the only one with a successful career at the CIA.
I enjoyed it despite the flaws the season had. I am fine with the ending and it makes sense to me, I just wish we had like 2-3 more episodes to fully flesh everything out. The only thing I hate is the pairing they did in Episode 5. Like I know *why* the two got together but I don't vibe
I wasn't mad at the ending but I wasn't too happy about the path there. It seemed like so much mess that wasn't fully explained and wasn't fully resolved or tied up. I just wish they had focused more on the Jennifer Incident and Hargreeve's wife and all these plot points that the show has been building up instead of just quickly explaining away those points and then bringing up new weird stuff to not explain. However, there were still so many funny moments and the ending itself seemed to give it the most gentle wrap up that it could have.
Seriously...... put the producers, director, and especially the WRITERS on the hot seat. Forget the actors, they are brilliant. Let's focus on the story and the EXACT person who wrote it. I think they deserve one of those hot poker stickers they use on cows to brand them. In this case with the UA logo. This was about the worst writing I have ever seen. Remember the easter eggs in previous seasons, you can get drunk and try and figure out if there are any here. This season was a mess. And so I have read the filming was SOO out of sequence most of the cast were confused about what they were filming... This was a loss. P/D/W please learn from this mistake.
This was only 6 episodes while all other seasons were 10, you can expeculate from that that the studio probably fucked them up, combine that with the sag aftra that could be another thing that fucked them up, its no wonder the writting is shit. You can critize it all you want but do that to the people that really deserve
14:35 I wasn't expecting that line to make me laugh that hard lol
Thanks for the reminder. Whilst I watched all the teasers, it somehow didn't stay in my mind when this season would actually come out.
Same
The Effiel Tower is a nod to the comics where the Umbrella Academy DID save it
And in first season, I think Allison told Claire a similar story when they were on her bed

YASSS AS SOMEONE WHO READ THE COMICS I WAS THRILLED WHEN THEY INCLUDE DD THAT REF ❤❤

Jean is played by Megan Mullally from Will and Grace. (Nick's real wife.)
Oh wow that’s awesome!
She was also his first ex wife Tammy in Parks and Recreation
✨☂️✨
It's hard to see her as anything other than Karen Walker.
@@cazper420his second, Tammy 2.

The other Jean, is the lady that played one of his exes in Parks(his real life wife.)
Totally forget about this. Gonna binge this season and come back to this video.
Edit: 19:04 LOL xD

I also was reminded of TMNT2 at the exact part that you said it. I thought it was just because I was high.
My boi Klaus!
Oh my god I didn't even know season 4 was coming !
Haha better go watch the episode then, be right back for your reaction ;P
Finished it. I wanna know how people feel about it 😭
we cried, we "aww"-ed, we aren't mad. it had to end somehow, this is an ok way to do it.

Is anyone else wondering where the OTHER ben went??? Like they completely forgot that
And I wanted to know how Jennifer was there, why Sloane is gone but Sparrow Ben wasn't, a lot of questions without answer
@@Yuli24 part of me thinks this Jennifer blipped from another timeline
That is the reason I was so excited for this season and they ignored it completely
Let's go!!!
Strap in because this season ends terribly
React to one fast move please

I agree, but we gotta leave Gerard and Gabriel out of it lol.

Why were you cringing at the Victor at the beginning?
Because his love life appears to be a train wreck still. He’s my favorite character and I want him to be happy!
@@Omn1MediaIn that case, agreed.
@@Omn1Media, I wanted that for him, too. He evidently never found another love like Sissy.
