The Raadha Kalpa Method is a comprehensive training program for Bharatanatyam devised by Rukmini Vijayakumar through her years of research on the mechanics of movement within the Bharatanatyam vocabulary. The philosophy of the training system lies in developing a neutral body and mind such that the dancer is able to be versatile and malleable within performance.
The program is primarily offered at the LshVa Studios, run by the Raadha Kalpa Dance company in Bangalore.

Previously all the students waited patiently to become ready to go on the stage and give a public performance. Now there are so many outlets and opportunities that most students start performing even before they are really ready. So just like in a jungle where we hear all kinds of birds singing and not just the cuckoos, we get to watch all kinds of students performing. But we love whatever little children do . In the same way we can still find joy in these dances.

Yes, some people get into dancing for fame and being able to perform before an audience. There's nothing wrong with craving for it. Everyone has different brains and perspectives, if all thought the same, there would be no diveristy or innovation. Just because a few in the dance community think humility and revering the guru is best for their life, doesnt mean it is best for everyone's life. And thank the universe the world is different today, else the community would just be in a rut stuck by the ideas of a few.
@@visalakshik.raman.6278 good for you to lead your life based on stories. Feel free to revere your guru, I’m not that type. I don’t care for God, and to top it, I would distrust people who easily compare mere mortals to God, as if any human can ever live up to the omnipresence, omniscient and omnipotent definition of God.

Do you realize how much power you are allowing another human being to have over your claiming they represent God for you. Humans are prone to errors, and people make mistakes. You are letting your life be affected by other peoples mistakes.

These days many dancers are mixing up kuchipudi and Bharathanatyam. It is very disheartening. , and some are even presenting western style in our classical.
The choreography of our ancestors is devine and graceful can watch for a long time.
This generation is not devine. The choreography of this generation will not have grace.
