Hunting the Wren is such a gut punch. It’s a naturalist novel’s worth of holding society’s shit up to its nose in a few minutes of verse and clever soundscapes. It’s that powerful.

Only very recently discovered this amazing band but already have fallen totally in love with them. Traditional Irish folk music is their starting point but then they seem to take it into another dimension altogether!
I had a free ticket to this and I didn't go, and I will never stop beating myself up about it.

Heard this band on RTE last Sunday and have been obsessed since. Wherever they play next in Ireland, hopefully out of Dublin, I'm going.
Holy shit, when radie starts harmonsing on the young people at 14:32, serious goosebumps. Seeing them in 2 days in Bristol, just can't wait!
