  • In this video, you'll learn how to create stunning graphics by combining the power of Midjourney on Discord and Adobe Photoshop. The tutorial takes you step-by-step through the process of selecting the subject, cutting them out of the background, and using Midjourney to add vibrant and eye-catching effects to your graphics.
    First, open the image you want to edit in Photoshop. Then, use the "Select Subject" tool to automatically select the subject of the photo. If needed, you can refine the selection using the lasso or quick selection tools.
    Next, copy and paste the subject onto a new layer, and then use the move tool to position it onto a different background. To blend the subject with the new background, adjust the brightness, contrast, and color balance as needed.
    But what if you don't have a different background to use? No problem! We'll show you how to create a custom background using Midjourney on Discord. Simply choose a photo or video from the library, customize it with text, filters, and stickers, and then download it as a new background to use in Photoshop.
    With these easy steps, you can create stunning photos and unleash your creativity. Give it a try and see the amazing results for yourself!

    how can i ask you a question and advice as to very hard effect in ps? it concerns a "cloth bulge", and i spent a week to find something teaching of it, - NOTHING. It turns out to depict realistically the bulge of an object under clothing is an extremely difficult task. I mean exactly realistic. for example, to depict how the fabric stretches on a person's body if you put your hand under a T-shirt? and if the T-shirt is thin and slightly transparent? could you help, sir?

    Love the video. One thing that you may want to try next time is to change the aspect ratio to fit your image. You can do this by adding -ar 9:16 or what ever aspect ratio that you are looking for.
    Also, I think that once you get your final image, you should click the open in browser so you can download a higher resolution of the image.

    Correction: you *do* need to pay for Midjourney before you can do anything. The trial doesn't actually work. It will forever tell you that it's too busy for the trial or that you just don't have access. I've tried all hours of day and night, but never managed to generate a *single* image in trial mode.

      Most of the time the art M.J. produces is not exactly what the artist has in mind.
      Artists usually want to create something based on their own creative composition in mind.

      Theres no such thing as "A.I artist"
      Those who were artists before A.I revolution are still real artists after A.I. revolution.
      A.I is just a more robust and intelligent tool that saves artists a lot of time

      Well come full circle in time. Like ebooks going crazy early on now everyone is back to good old fashioned paper for the most part. Human generated content will be worth more simple because of the floors etc. It just needs some time.
      That won't stop the bulk businesses using Ai content though...

    I would suggest avoiding the use of AI until the ethical issues surrounding the training and use of these tools are better addressed.

  • @shannonpalmer
    @shannonpalmer ปีที่แล้ว +3

    All of the people who are moaning about the AI aspect of this should consider the fact that Adobe is releasing it’s own AI that is ethically trained on images they are legally allowed to use (which also allows people who sell stock on their site to opt out of contributing to this learning if they want). Which means that in the next few months, there will be no way to know if AI is created by Midjourney, or Adobe. Eventually the courts will clear up the legalities on all of this, and between those things, AI is here to stay, regardless of how much people on the internet complain about it. I’ve been a working artist and designer for 30 years. I saw people whine about photoshop and digital cameras, until eventually those cries went away and were replaced by the new tech. The same thing goes for Napster and digital streaming/sharing, and many other things. One thing that people don’t get is the way all of this works. AI apps aren’t storing tons of photos on some server that they then steal from. They learned from the data the same way humans learn what things look like by looking at them. If AI is unethical, then so is having a Pinterest board to influence your next design. Did you ask the owner’s permission to pin their illustration/font/poster/photograph? Probably not. This loud chorus of people on the AI bandwagon will fade out the same way the haters of digital art did in the 90s. Fear of change and the unknown is a powerful thing.

    • @Tvoj_Prijatelj_Vili
      @Tvoj_Prijatelj_Vili ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Well I say as long as you don't use it for example that an AI makes the whole art and you just put your stamp/watermark on it. This actually is not different when Photoshopers use a different background/stock image for their own photo. It's still a photoshop composit, but you're using AI generated graphics with your own images/graphics etc., instead of stock graphics from some sites.

  • @MartinPodt
    @MartinPodt ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Oh man. I always loved your tutorials. But given the ethical problems with Midjourney (it has been trained on personal data and copyrighted material without consent), I think you should not use it. If you use it, it's like you agree that they have used work of artists and photographers without permission. I would have expected some disclaimer why you think it's good to use AI even given these issues (and the lawsuits against these AI companies).
