I'm very excited to hear your feedback next year about ryegrass compared to your previous tall fescue. About me, my sod quality KBG doesn't do well during summer. I think it will but I will spend so much in water. Tomorrow, I will drop SS1100 TTTF. I hope the blades will be fine.

2XL. Great info, I am 13 days in on a 70/30 PR/ KGB Reno (coverage not weight). Wondering if I should cut the PR, with the KGB in the early stages. I bit concerned about stopping all over the KGB. My manual reel mower is being delivered this weekend. Good to know about the fungicide, I have some propicanozole I can put down. I was also wondering about fungus with all the water.
I’m a size Large. I’m 4 weeks in overseeding, mostly good growth all around. I’m actually about to get out there and mow for the second time since overseeding, I need me one of those manual mowers. Been learning a lot from your videos, I love them! And the humor is always a delight 🙂. Keep up the good work!

I have the same Toro 60v and love it but only use it once monthly when I deep rake to pull up dead grass and leaves so that I can vacuum with it and bring it to a height a half inch higher than my reel mower cuts which I follow up with the next day. You’ll find that you’ll like your reel’s results better. I purchased a HudsonStar reel mower which is a manual reel mower made for putting greens, lawn tennis courts, cricket fields etc... In that I live in Florida and our soil is comprised largely of sand I found that the wheels on conventional reel movers often pushed the loosely packed soil around but the chain driven designs of manual court mowers driven by their back rollers avoids that and the shape of the Mac he’s base lends itself to stability and a level cut. Since you’ve invested time in top dressing I thought you might consider one. It’s an indulgence but a very finely crafted product that can be cared for and used indefinitely like something out of the industrial revolution.

Any chance you could do a liquid/granular "spoon feed" program? I'm more of a fan of the spoonfeeding, results seem to be better that way instead of throw it down or spray it and forget it for 4 or 6 weeks 👌

I am 3 weeks into a total kill renovation similar to yours. I am still very thin in some areas but in other spots the grass is already 4 inches. I don't have a reel mower like you, I only have a riding zero turn mower, what do you recommend? Should I use the riding mower or go out and rent a push mower? Also, what fungicide do you recommend to use on newly planted grass, I live in PA and choose to go with a cool season sun and shade mix from Jonathan Green. Any advice is welcomed and keep making the great content 👍

Hey nice earthwise I have the 5 blade version 😁. Might upgrade to the 7 though if I plan on going below 1” that’s as low as she goes and it didn’t come with a bag like yours has. Good mower though! Difficult to push on a large property though. Especially if you have any thick and weedy grass that is still in there.

Request for your guide. A lot of lawn youtubers are in northern-er lawns. I am a Florida guy, very different grass types, weather, weeds etc. Would love to see a guide related to southern lawns, some how to’s, and products that work well down here!
