With three people a bumch of uears ago with titanium armor and chain gums with chloriphite bullet it took like 10 mins titanium armor used to give imunity frames every no and then and it was supper useful
When I first heard of the bone key, I thought it opened an overpowered chest in the dungeon, I spent 10 minutes with my 9 terraprisma swords to realize I did all that for a pet
@@karlosgamboa5549 technically the blade staff is the best for killing the dungeon guardian since your actual damage doesn't matter the blade staff minions attack relaly fast and ignore immunity frames

He might be bulky and strong but thats about it. When it comes to attacks he is very predictable since he can only ram into you. It becomes less a question of difficulty than making the right preparations.

This clip activated my precious childhood memory. It's us 3 friends beating the guardian with a bug that let's you go invincible in Terraria mobile (I don't remember the exact version but I think it was 3ds? Or much older version of terraria) it was heck ton of fun doing everything we can only 1dmg till we beat it.
I remember defeating a dungeon guardian before (in the mobile version), and my brother and I just used those valentine/heart arrows which constantly makes the dungeon guardian stop moving, making it easier to hit and defeat.
Finch staff has separate immunity frame counters for enemies, so use that, and a weapon that attacks fast. Crits are calculated after enemy defense and damage reduction, so maximize those.
Heres a suggestion guys, defeat the moon lord and get luminite ore, make them bars, and craft luminite arrows and a phantasm/luminite bow. Defeat martian invasion and get the ufo carkey mount. Using these u can face the dungeon guardian and defeat him in a few mins. You can even go as far as farming the bone keys.

You can make a circle-like shape with the rail, so that it can't hit and so on. They call the stupid bass something that has an attack pattern, they don't have it, and it has a form as well
I just got it about 4 days ago and with 57 percent crit zenith it only takes like 15 to 20 minutes flying around with the Martian ship and going diagonal to gain distance from him, crit is nice because it will do 2 instead of one and speeds up fight by a lot
I have seen the bone key drop from a dungeon chest multiple times. So if it is something that only comes from this particular method it might be a relatively recent change. A few years back the bone key was something that you could pickup from any kind of chest you would find in a dungeon though the best odds was from the bone chest. You could also potentially get the bone key from the skeleton merchant for a fairly high cost the skeleton merchant needed to be in the dungeon if I'm remembering correctly. Not just an area designated as a dungeon but the area that your world actually generates the dungeon. I'm not saying that these things are a certain thing but they were very possible to happen and fairly often though not as often as many other things like the odds of you receiving a bees knees from the bee queen. The way that you would have the highest odds of getting it without beating the dungeon guardian was to either get the skeleton merchant to spawn in the dungeon or by moving him there through some means when he spawned. Then you would simply check his inventory every few minutes and eventually after a while he would have it. You could also potentially get the bone key from a random enemy drop in the dungeon but that has been quite some time. On a side note think that one of the most consistent ways to kill the guardian is with a summoner setup and dropping a lot of summoned creatures then dropping a pile of beenades. Each bee from the beenade will hit up to ten times but probably not more than three or four and every grenade will spawn up to 10 bees though probably not more than five. Between the different sorces of damage you could potentially rack up a massive number of hits very quickly.

My idea was this: You get on the Marshan Madness mount and go to the dungeon and empty all the places with a drill so that you can easily move up to the position where he comes towards you. After you reach an open space, you can try to distance yourself from him with the Marshan Madness mount and use the zenith. damage him
It is easy with the turtle armor and the ninja master set, you just have to dodge the first blow and with the second he will die, a few tries and he dies
Back in my day all you needed to do was gat the boys together with their turtle armor and take turns nose diving into the dungeon

I haven't checked recently, but the easiest way to kill it In vanilla would be using frostburn arrows with the phantasm bow
Not anymore. It’s completely immune to all debuffs. Just use holy arrows instead if you are going up. Use luminite arrows if sideways.
