This album is such a gem. I can't get into their new stuff now that their singer sounds like an angry 12 year old. Great cover. That tone is BROOOOOOOTAL.
@@Frankthegb Lol. I'm not talking about the mix I'm talking about the choice of notes and boring bass parts. You're not the smartest animal in the zoo?
Archit Tamarapu Bongo’s have a natural mid range spank to them, so getting a mid heavy bass (Bongo, Sting Ray, Dingwall NG, Warwick Thumb, etc) will be a game changer in tone. Darkglass B7K is the easiest way to get this sound, and probably some light compression as well.
mmmm idk about that. it needs to be dialed in right, and your basses DI sound will greatly effect the final bass tone, as well as EQ, compression, etc. i'd say it's a perfect start to a good metal bass tone.

The original bass parts on this one always struck me as underwhelming, but your rendition sir is tastier than a salami samdwich
You don’t understand the purpose of bass in the mix

what setup are you using to get that tone?

Which tunning you did for this song on your bass sir?
This is a cool rendition but this isn't really how it's played. I'll give you a thumbs up for giving it a killer edge tho.
How the hell do you do this with out a pick lol
