Yeah I'm sort of that way too. I enjoy Lukas and the newer Veil Of Maya stuff, But when I think of Veil Of Maya, I always look towards their older sound like [ID], Eclipse, etc. To me, the tech death sound and riffs is what drew me to the band in the first place. Almost like a whole different band

James Howell On Tama's website, it says he uses the Tama Speed Cobras.
he uses trick dominator pedals. there is an interview with him explaining why he chose them
