Most direct and effective way of attaining enlightenment. Anyone can do it. Don't need a medium or a priest.

bonjour, but we must not forget that this is only one path..... and there are many others ...... and none is better than another.... .. it's like wanting to climb a mountain there are several paths for everyone to choose their own............ the important thing is not the path but the goal (to reach the top.)........ 🙏🕉

Saya pun sedang belajar agama Buddha nichiren, menurutku inti ajaran semua agama Buddha adalah sama, dan masing-masing ajaran menggunakan cara yg berbeda untuk mencapai keadaan tertinggi kesadaran Buddha.

      bonsoir
have you verified for yourself .....
without concrete and personal experience you cannot assert anything....
the problem is the believers.....in fact the believers don't know.....if they knew they wouldn't say I believe that but I know that.....for centuries or even millennia for precisely this reason beliefs there were millions of deaths.......
it is so easy to believe writings or teachings......
I never said that all paths were the same......
I said there are several paths.....
for everyone to choose their own....
the important thing is not the path but the goal
please don't make me say what I didn't say
this is not the reaction of an "awakened" being
.please do not be like some others "awakened...... "who think they have the truth and say that the others are in error.. .....It's just an ego trick
good life to you on planet earth. 🙏🕉

That's ironeous. There is but one true law. The Gohonzon can effect positive change 7 generations behind you as well as in front of you

      @@Maude-ru7sv bonjour
the problem is that everyone fights for their own "church" and they think they have the absolute truth......
the day you manage to realize your true nature you will realize that no one is right or wrong....as I said in my 1st comment ..... the path is not important....but the goal to achieve. ....
      don't be a believer but a seeker
      a simple question ....
Have you become aware of your true nature?

Honorable idea I suppose expedite means or teaching people for their understanding was the way of the Buddha…so all dharma is important the diamond sutra for instance teaches, the Buddha said all I offer is the path question everything if it doesn’t work for you change it ❤

Can you chant the Lotus Sutra using the Sanskrit name Namo Saddharma Pundarika Sutra

    • @DearProfessorRF
      @DearProfessorRF ปีที่แล้ว +1

This is always a great question. You see, neither in the Sanskrit title and even “in the sutra, do we find a definite explication of the Law referred to in the title” but Nichiren “gave the Law concrete expression as Nam Myoho Renge Kyo. He gave actual proof of the infinite power of chanting Nam Myoho Renge Kyo and taught others tap into this universal power and receive actual proof and protection through the same practice. It was true 750 years ago as it is now. I know it by personal experience after 25 years of practice with the Soka Gakkai and I have the joy of seeing others breakthrough any obstacles through this practice. Notice that this practice of achieving Buddhahood is not just about chanting, but also studying, connecting with a true mentor, and working with others to achieve personal happiness and the happiness of others.
      I hope this helps.

Another way of seeing it is:
Saddharma-Pundarika-sutra (sanskrit) represents the Buddhism of Shakyamuni and his times; Miao-fa-lien-hua-ching (Chinese) represents the Buddhism that expanded through China and the T’ientai school.
“Nam Myoho Renge is, therefore, not simply a Japanese phrase, but a Japanese reading of a Sanskrit and Chinese phrase. In this sense, it contains aspects of the languages of three countries in which Mahayana Buddhism spread eastward.”
Another key difference is the following:
“In On the Three Great Secret Laws, Nichiren states that the daimoku Nichiren chants today in the Latter Day of the Law is different from that of the previous ages-the daimoku T’ien-t’ai and others chanted in the Former Day and Middle Day of the Law-because the practice of daimoku in the Latter Day of the Law involves chanting it oneself and teaching others to do so as well. Nichiren not only established the invocation (daimoku) of Nam-myoho-renge-kyo but embodied it as a mandala, making it the object of devotion called Gohonzon.”

The first two exceptions would be accurate but the ‘personal responsibility’ claim is unfortunate. The Buddha spoke of personal accountability and responsibility in many sutras such as the Kalamatta Sutta as an example. The third one is just factually incorrect.
