The intro to Tom's award is hilarious! I love how he interjected his own opinion of how Loki was his best work and dismissed his other work (as a joke, of course!). That's the best intro for anyone I've ever heard. Too bad there were no shots of his friend Benedict's reaction to it though. I would've loved to see him laughing.
Benedict Cumberbatch forgot to mention Tom Hiddleston when he listed co-stars. I love them both and they are friends so he just forgot, but, c'mon Benedict! The guy who spoke after Benedict, in mentioning other cast, did not mention Hiddleston either, Hiddleston was brilliant in War Horse. Geez, people. My word!
The award was for best tv drama (War Horse was a film) and it went to the BBC/HBO miniseries Parade's End. It starred Benedict and the rest of the cast he mentioned and was adapted to screen by Tom Stoppard (aka 'the guy who spoke after Benedict' who also happens to be one of Britain's greatest living playwrights). Ben wasn't listing every co-star he'd worked with, he was specifically listing the ones he worked with on Parade's End. The miniseries did not star Tom Hiddleston so there was no need to mention him.
