I worked as a correctional officer for years. Most prisoners go in and make the wrong connections; it’s like a training camp and country club for criminals. They only trust each other, only understand each other. The exit door is a revolving door: they know they’ll be back and will be welcomed back by the very same felons who “protected them” when they first arrived. It’s a sick downward spiral
