Simracing604 was just doing a new pseudo-review of this, as there's a new update. Yes, just gotta love these monsters in all their brutal, fire-breathing glory. It's mind-blowing to think that Klaus Niedzwiedz took the 1.7-liter Capri around the Nurburgring, before they chopped off the old start/finish to build the new GP Circuit, faster than any of the Group 6 Prototypes ever went around there. You definitely need to unleash these beasts around some classic circuits, like Imola '72, Osterreichring '74, Kyalami '67, Bathurst '76, Bridgehampton, Riverside, Interlagos '75, Buenos Aires '79, or any number of others. Naturally, the Porsche 935s cleaned up over here in IMSA GTX as well. But David Hobbs also got some sprint race victories in the BMW 320i, while he and Derek Bell teamed to win the 1979 Road America 500. Now, if we could just get the Japanese Super Silhouettes to accompany these.
WTH? How did I not know about these? Thank you so much for doing this video. I downloaded immediately and have been having a blast with them! The turbo lag is no joke and you have to learn to anticipate it kicking in because when it does, hang on! Thanks again for the lead. I love the AC community!
I find myself racing the group 4 in raceroom and the classic porsche in AMS 2 all the time. When going back from group 5 to a GT3 is like playing with full assists. 😉
that looked a whole lot of fun, thanks for the great video. I was like you -- had not heard about them. Just got mine now and looking forward to checking them out
Used them few years back in a league, it was super fun. I highly recommend the Lancia Beta Montecarlo, and I loved it at Bridgehampton. We even raced the less powerful BMWs at Macau, it was insane.
People will spend 15 euros on a trashy and horribly unhealthy lunch, but cringe at that amount for this DRM mod. I just learned about it, and bought it, within the last few hours. It was an _easy_ decision.
I am afraid that the deal is not available anymore or ATM. If I remember correctly, to become a Premium Member on RD, you will have to create an account and therein can then upgrade to Premium. It's 14,99 € per year.
GREAT VIDEO. Have fun with further DRM races

DRM mod is really massive. Raced it early version. Now back in VR, modern simrig and racing circuits of the time for Group 5.
AC lives!

These are so rad around Bremgarten 1954 made by Fat-Alfie!

Graphics settings?
Great to see you have fun.
But have you thought about upgrading your PC? I have to be honest I couldn't drive with such a low framerate.
The Capri is also the best looking!!!!
