A couple of things, as I objectively (as an outsider) listen to the good Dr’s story. 1. Bear in mind that this is the royal palace. There’s hundreds (at least) of troops in attendance who have literally sworn to defend the king, his person and family. What exactly were they doing when the entirety of their supreme commander’s family was being blown to pieces? 2. Similarly, it’s a party in royal palace. There’s bound to be servers and attendants serving drinks and all that. How come we have never heard from any of them? Or was our royal family so egalitarian that they did the serving and cleaning all by themselves? 3. how come the victims were taken to all the way to Chhauni when hospitals like Bir hospital or Teaching were much closer. 4. I am in a hurry so can’t find the exact source, but I believe Girija Prasad Koirala, the then PM, was barred from arriving at the scene and when he arrived, the whole scene was being wiped clean. Why do that to a crime scene? Even if I didn’t get it exactly, it is incredibly odd that there wasn’t an extensive investigation where forensic and ballistics experts were engaged. But these are just my quick thoughts regarding the actual events, someone who has studied in greater detail can see how insubstantial this story is. The immediate aftermath is deeply mysterious as well. Maybe the official explanation is the truth, but are we supposed to believe it without a second thought? As much I as I applaud your work, I think you wasted opportunities to ask him the most basic clarifying questions.
mero opinion ma chai, (just a thought...) if Dipendra did kill his father, he would immediately become king. So, as soon as his father died, Dipendra would have authority and control over the guards, who are sworn to defend the king present like you mentioned. Therefore, if Dipendra were to become king at that very moment, the guards would be under his command and might be hesitant to go against their new supreme leader which might be the reason they didn't take any action... However, it still remains a significant question as to who ordered Dipendra's murder. (hope my writing is understandable :)
In my opinion dipendra was shot by prince niiranjan with pistol by orders of other member (han teslai as he mentioned)and dipendra shot his heavy gun blindly in his last breath to prince niiranjan

I disagree … in my perspective.. I don’t think he killed his own parents over marriage…. Why ?? Cause at that time love marriage in Nepal was …. Rare … only few successful love marriages happened… unless they ran together secretly without letting anyone know about it And if he could keep all the women and concubines… though he did not like his wife .. I think he still would be fine .. So I strongly.. disagree…
