@@MakeItorBreakItNow I found the contact information, so I sent them an email. They are closed for the weekend, so I guess I will wait. Otherwise, I will ask Amazon for a refund, or replacement. I paid $60 for mine. I sure wouldn't know how to package it up and return it. The box is gone.
I hesistate to give you too much advice here since I can't see your particular situation, but, you might want to CAREFULLY check the screws under the table. The instructions do provide some suggestions if you still have them...

Thanks, I want to build my own rolling overbed table for a double bed. It needs to work for two people at once. I have it in mind, but have never seen one. It should slide up and down the bed like a staple. I am wondering what wood is the best (lightweight and sturdy, preferably dark).
JaneLee, great name BTW. I would go with a beech plywood, and run some supports underneath. 1/2 inch to 5/8 inch is still pretty light, and it stains well. Or... you could buy two of these tables, one for each side of the bed.
Try adjusting the screws underneath on the vertical tube. The slightly larger rounded philips head is usually the lock out screw and can get hung up. Be careful ans push down on the top of the table slightly over the post in case it springs up. Be careful, good luck.

I want this so bad, but I am horrible at assembling things. Maybe I will find some help. I need it for my laptop in bed. My back hurts when I watch my TV in bed - not the right height or position.
It works for someone who doesn't use much of a laptop. Someone like me, it is nothing but a piece of junk waiting to happen. I appreciate the video and your thoughts, but for someone who needs a laptop desk that also tilts, accommodates a usb hub, an external USB Hard drive and a mouse, it wouldn't work out... Thanks for trying though.

I see the small lever but can’t move it to lock
Not sure what may be the problem. Try pushing down a bit on the table next to the tube and use a screwdriver to adjust the pressure near the lever?
My table is now stuck in the highest position! The lever does not work to lower it. Now what do I do?
I haven't seen that problem, did you ask the manufacturer?

I read a few people having this issue. Hand lever up, push down on table over the leg. You can spray it also

We just put together a drive brand table just as good quality only there were no instructions thank goodness for TH-cam. Also cost $60.

why doesn't it work for laptop? too unstable? not enough space? I ask because I'm thinking about buying it for laptop usage
