I mean, this remix is legendary. LE-GEN-DA-RY! There's only a handful of songs where the remix version was bigger than the original version. "Show Me Love" by Robin S and "Missing" by Everything But The Girl come to mind, or "I Follow Rivers" by Lykke Li in more recent times. But for a remix to be THAT different, essentially a whole new song (or as Tori effectively calls it "a vibe") is just a whole other ball of wax. I love Tori's originals but I also enjoy Tori's remixes. You just have to appreciate them for what they are and see them as kind of stand-alone. There have been some gorgeous mixes in the past. Timo Maas on "Don't Make Me Come To Vegas" being one of my favourites, but I also love what Warren Rigg did on "Jackie's Strength". Sidenote: I did a remix of "Sugar" so if you want to have a listen, it's on my channel. But yeah, thank you for finding these clips!
The best dance song... Ever... I remember this in the 90s as a teen. By god what a song. If you were not from that era, That time, you wouldn't understand
She can really team up with a great House Music producer and make magic. Not Gonna Get Us live by Tori in a concert in Moscu was ready to print and it would've been a total hit. Yes she can do stellar House Music never mind if it doesn't reach AVH remix fame. She has the stuff that house music dreams are made of.
Quite Honest here I would have never listened to Tori Amos Music probably ever if it was not for this song right here this Incredible Song right here its Amazing and still one of my favorite songs of all time, and Tori is dead right this one would be almost impossible too top it just wouldn't happen especially now the 90's are long long long gone.
Like when Black Box heavily sampled & re mixed "love sensation" to re create it as "ride on time" in 1989 & took it to number one for 6 weeks & Loleatta Holloway got nothing for it before taking action & then Heather Small re sang the sampled lyrics
It doesn't matter what anybody thinks. The remix made it high on the charts, still makes people dance, and is a legendary dj track. No doubt about it. Not liking it is a matter of taste, and many people liked it.
OMG! I remember visiting a friend in New York at a club called The Tunnel. Professional Widow came on and my friend and I raced to the dance floor to vide with the crowd.
the lighting in that second interview is so toriphobic
Ain't that the truth! haha
The club remix of the song Tori wrote about Courtney Love

I agree! “Missing” was good, but the Todd Terry remix was even better

I remember hearing this at gay clubs and as I Tori fan from her first three albums I didn’t know it was her for some time.

The best dance song that no one knows the name of.
I knew it

It took me ages trolling through top 100 charts during the Lockdown, and I also found Ken Lazlo Hey Hey Guy!
The merry widow live version is the best in my opinion. It's full of raw emotions and makes the other versions sound forgettable.
Likeshe hasn't heard all of her remixes.. c'mon TorTor!

1:45 the guy doesn’t have a clue about club music
1:11 this damn lighting ...
I grow up on the remix 😇
That is a phenomenal house record. One of the best of all time. Everyone goes crazy for that track. It takes you on a ride
The original is so good. The remix is the worst remix I've ever heard.
What are you talking about?!?? Ahahah
Both are soooo gooooood….
Both are good in their own right
Are you kidding? The original is forgettable. I have no idea how the remix came about from that. Incredible. It's a fever dream.

Es como Sia con "drink to get drunk", sólo que Sia si tiene una gran voz
The original sucks ….I never liked her music but the remix is so good
Imagine, there's an alternate universe where this song doesn't exist! Bummer!
Absolutely. This remix will be legend forever!
