Tubular stuff sacks for your hammock, or tarps, and although hammock life goes on nicely with out them, why would you NOT have them....

I've got the DD Hammocks hammock sleeve for my hammock. Makes deploying and stowing the hammock a snap - a real time-saver all around.
I made snakeskins out of mesh to slide over my tarp.

There are some that don't understand its function, and have asked "what if your tarp is wet" my answer, (It would still be wet in a rectangle stuff sack....lol

@@bexbugoutsurvivor That's why my tarp is never carried inside the pack. I have a front pouch (so I can access it without taking my pack off) in which I carry tarp (attached to ridgeline, in snake skins), pegs and guy lines and a small ground sheet.
If the tarp is wet, it's not dripping all over my bedding.

I have been debating one for my tarp. That way I can put the tarp up in the skin and put out the stakes for just in case.

There's a couple of videos coming up where I have my entire hammock shelter in these skins, (minus insulation) of course. These snakeskins are not a real requirement, but now I have them would never go back to stuff sacks again. A small investment to aid better hammock glamping....all the best ....bex

A great price for something that looks like it could last a long time. As you can tell, it was pre-recorded from last winter, so has winter spring and summer, miles on it now, and set up is a breeze...bex

I have a DDHammock XL and a snugpak cocoon would it be difficult to fit them into the snakeskin?

The DD XL Hammock is polyester, and a has more volume than my light weight sil nylon tarp, but it would go in the skin, albeit a tighter fit. The cocoon as well not a chance.....When I used my snugpak cocoon, I didn't separate it from the hammock. Both go in to the stuff sack easily, and makes for a better set up, and strike down.....bex
