      Have you ever considered covering content of major Mods and their locations and lore? Probably would be more time consuming on your end but you would be breaking ice on topics most other fallout 4 TH-camrs don't approach. Like Depravity, Outcasts and remnants, America Rising, or Sims Settlements 2. All have expansive lore on its own and their own map locations.

    Remember, Bradberton was the same dude who sent agents to pre war Bar Harbor to attack the Vim! factory and sabotage their vending machines, going so far as one agent firing a rocket launcher at the factory around the time the bombs dropped on America.

    • @jacobfreeman5444
      @jacobfreeman5444 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +57

      You should have told the reason for sending the agent(to force VIM! to sell to him. He is infamous for forcing people to sell their recipes and businesses to him) and there is some evidence the agent decided to go so far as guerilla tactics on their own initiative. It was just so strangely effective Bradburton had no reason to reign the agent in. I mean, you would think at some point even corrupt police would demand too much in bribes to make it worthwhile yet no such problem ever occurred.

      Yeah as nasty as Bradberton was I still chose to shutdown the machine keeping him alive. Keeping him suspended like that was just cruel. I wouldn't even wish that on even my worst enemy, not matter how vile and evil they are. Oddly enough my main character on Fallout 4 absolutely hates Nuka Cola. To sweet and makes his teeth hurt but he loves Sunset Sarsaparilla and Vim! ironically enough. I base my main over my own particular tastes in RL. I hate Coca-Cola for the same reason but love Barqs Root Beer and Squirt.

The largest employer of explosive experts the in the US for a LONG time, maybe even today, was Disney for their Fireworks displays. They hire the best as soon as they can, and hold em. This is why I feel both options for life or death are both morally good. If he dies, it’s fair since immortality is a burden and he has already served his sentence. On the other hand, maybe not being alone might help his desire to live and perhaps, maybe after 2 centuries of grueling silence, he might reform and make better choices.

      That was my thought exactly. Like yes under normal circumstances a group of people who designs soft drink flavors, while likely talented in their specific field, isn't really anything on the level being discussed. However, this is fallout, and bradburton is a fucking nutjob even by fallout standards. Even if he *hadn't* poached top talent from elsewhere, whatever insane shit he was having them work on and resources he was dumping into those projects very well could have led to them becoming top organic chemists and whatever strings he pulled to get them there would have meant this was known

    We could do it in the Automatron DLC, to Jezebel the Genocidal Maniac. Why not to ole JCB? Having completed the Automatron DLC would of course have to be a requirement for the option to be available.

    As for Sierra P., I was happy to see her in this DLC. FO3 and FO4 happened close enough together on the timeline, with the regions reasonably near each other, that I felt her inclusion was only natural. Given that other FO3 NPC;s, such as RJ MacCready and Dr. Madison Li, had already drifted to, and settled in, the New England Commonwealth before the Sole Survivor escaped Vault 111, finding Sierra was not a shock.

    I got annoyed with Fallout 4 when I preordered it, pulled an all-nighter on release to play it, and really got into it. But at one point the game broke on me, because I dared to skip ahead of the script and cleared out an area Preston hadn't told me to go to yet, so I couldn't complete his mission. Quest chain broken. They might've fixed it later, but by then I had become so disgusted I just didn't want to play anymore.
    But I also realized I really didn't need to. The combat wasn't really all that different, I really just wanted the story, the lore. And sometimes that could be so tedious to find myself. You have been a godsend, my friend. I started watching you way back before F4 even launched and loved every video I dug out of your archive, felt like a loss when you disappeared for a while. This right here is why I was so glad to see you back, I get the true lore of the franchise to enjoy, wrapped in a neat little package. Thank you, Sir.

    Excellent as always.
    With the decision at the end, I usually end up doing the unethical thing, going Keeping Bradburton alive long enough to get the jumpsuit, then flipping the switch to get the good stuff. Feels bad man. But . . . Usually I'm doing Raider Stuff (TM) while I'm there, so it checks out, I think of it as gettin the swag and Tombing Up the witnesses.
    Not my ideal outcome, but I must collect.

      That's what I liked most about Nuka World. It actually let's you roleplay as a bad guy which is something the base game doesn't do well enough imo.
      The other games allow you to be a complete monster if you want & reward you for it so why should Fallout 4 be any different?

    The reason I don't believe Braxton tricked Bradberton is because Braxton outright tells him there's issues with it and it's "not as simple as flipping a switch and living forever." But Bradberton in his infinite wisdom just says "shut up I know everything about the program let me in." At which point Braxton basically just shrugs and says suit yourself.

    How selfish is that woman? SERIOUSLY. No, I don't care what heinous war crimes or whatever that he committed, at a certain point you're just torturing him for no other reason than you simply have a vendetta against the guy. It's not solving anything or teaching him any lessons he hasn't already thought up 10,000 times.
    This woman is so obsessed with a damn soft drink that she wants to condemn that guy to an eternity of loneliness and suffering, just so she can talk to her hero once in a while. Tbh the very second she so much as insinuated that I was in the wrong for shutting down the power... Laser, meet tacky blonde head. Nate is WAY too understanding when he defends his decisions to her that line "WHO ARE YOU TO.." blah blah, that was too much for me. Felt myself physically warm up from anger.

    At 12:34 when you mention your video on the galactic zone. Would you be able to link the videos via the info popups?
    Also long form frankenstein videos are doing really well at the moment, so maybe linking the whole Nuka world series into one might get you extra views.
    Or other series based around a specific part of fallout linked into one mega video. Multiple hours long (5+). I think the traction has come from viewers putting it on in the background, also it means just combining existing videos (no new content) into the video.

    Ive always been shocked by the selfishness and narcissism from seirra, Bradburton has been a head for centuries now and shes gonna say that she wants him to stay alive even though he directly tells you he wants to die and she hears him.

    • @jacobfreeman5444
      @jacobfreeman5444 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is only shocking if you were not paying attention to how she was acting throughout her quest. She acts kinda childish and not very put together. She doesn't even flinch when the Raiders threaten brutal death upon her, something she should be able to tell from her surrounding they really mean. So the question becomes is Sierra maybe there in the park because she finally lost her last marble and is just as crazy as Bradburton should be after hundreds of years of isolation? Lost in her own delusion and faced with the possibility of a captive audience...

    The conversation options with Bradberton being limited to "Yes, No, More info, Childish sarcasm" is one of the reasons I dislike FO4.
    Imagine if you could have a whole conversation with the man, discussing your findings in the logs of Braxton, make him question whether the General planned for this or not. Giving him the option of an Automaton body. Talking about soft drinks, Quantum, the state of his park, the state of humanity.
    But, no. You get a "Yes" or "No."

    I’m confused why his treasure quest isn’t understood to be his way of keeping himself entertained by a steady stream of sycophantic fan visitors, after the procedure?
    It would perfectly explain the slapdash way it was put together, as well as why such a busy man would make himself available.. once he realized what he was going to have to do, he put it together to have *something*.. but then the bombs fell.

    Sadly this line conflicts with the main story of fallout 4 sorta; or highlights how bad it really is. The Institute could easily make him a new synth body and swap his brain over to it no problem. This could be done by either medical means or that brainscan thing, heck, thats what was happening with Kelogg it seemed. So there were solutions besides making him a robobrain which would've also worked as was the case in 2 other DLC in the same game. But we got this bit instead. Feels like NV would give you this choice since all this tech became a thing in 4.

  • @eltrainmaroon1352
    @eltrainmaroon1352 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I never liked the choice you have to make concerning Bradberton. since the automatron dlc exists why can't i just put his head on a robot body. it worked for jezebel. not being able to turn Bradberton into a robobrain like entity was a huge misstep in potential story interaction. if you completed Automatron and let the Mechanist live you could then wire Bradberton up to a new body. But if you didn't then the basic two options would the only ones available.

    I personally believe Bradberton believes he was fooled. Our memories are easy enough to corrupt and we've all at some point convinced ourselves something happened differently than it actually did. With 2 centuries of reflecting his misery, to me, it makes sense he'd have himself convinced he was a victim and tricked into this situation...forgetting that he demanded to be included in the program.

They made Bradberton believe one thing at same time it was always meant to be just his head. Really they could of offered him a Robobrain body, witch would a little better then what he ended up with.
