This could be all around great and a big boom for the game economy IF they make the artificers stones drop in small amounts from reforged armour. At the moment, it seems like the stones are going to be very scarce compared to the amount of crafting we're going to have to do to get guaranteed gold pulls.
yeah same with the pure wisdom thing we berely get any so, essentially its just as hard to get the new doctrines as it is the normal good ones, they gave us a couple weeks of rewards where we got a few pure wisdoms but.. thats it...
Yes , it is for good reason. They want to Milk money from people they put it in battle pass and they already make it harder to achieve lvl 100 on battle pass so to squueze money from you. And in events for money you will have windsdom Stones and this new artificier Stone so I see No upgrade or lower the grind wall i see more grind ,more pay to win and you can lock only one stat from six stats thats ridiculous it will be worse to get good Rolls
Bro I'm a paladin with 40 points in armor and 20 in hp. I have a mix of legendary and epic gear, but I still get 1-shot-combo'd by assassins and disappear once I touch any unit battle. This will only exacerbate it. Tankiness is falling behind.
@@ethanchen4504 I'm a musket main. my highest resistance is 650 slashing and i don't get one-shot by assassin's. It's more so PoleAxe and maul that will combo you down from 100% to 0%
Not sure how I feel about this. I like some changes, but adding an entire other resource to require for reforging sucks, they could have compensated it by reducing iron and leather costs for crafting but it looks like they're just flat out adding more requirements to it. I don't care for this change tbh
I really enjoy the locking a stat but wish i could lock more than one. I don't like that artificer's stones are going to be hard to obtain for a lot of players and will essentally lead to more pay to win scenarios.

no it only benefits the players who already have the 20+ leadership armor so new players are still gonna have to roll for that leadership to lock it in can't roll higher after its locked which is fucking stupid. and i don't think it buffs ontop of the buff you already had. so its not stacking each craft bonus. you can potentially go lower still.]

Those are there because this video was recorded on the PTR testing server and that version has those numbers, nothing the regular players have to worry about.
Honestly I hope they tweak this just a little bit and get rid of the damage stats armors are now getting as I agree with not only you Evo, but KingAlpha said they're rather useless too on armors. Not to mention those stats are WAY too little to make any real difference. Reason I say I hope they tweak it a bit is cause Mauls will be absolutely disgusting since it only has one damage type and armor pen type which is blunt so that'd make the mauls stupidly OP to where no one will be playing anything else BUT maul.
The fact that locked stats can't improve makes that function USELESS. For example, you need to keep rolling till you have high leadership before locking, or settle with trash.
although its a cool addition,im not really a fan for making heroes stronger. Id rather have units stronger, suppose we can craft unit kits instead of hero, and make the units stronger with their crafted armor.
Really don't like the overall level this is going to buff players, which is really significantly. It inevitably is a boon for players with the leadership gear ready and an uphill battle for those without. The fact they took away the reconditioning system altogether is a dire change. If stones were in high supply it might be a different situation..

Now we are gonna see people that are new getting one shot by people with reforged armor .Its a joke to put offensive stats to a grind armor in a game that had poor balance in a first place . Not only your units are op compared to a new player with t5 doctrines but now you will be as well with op reforged armor. Locking stat should also be allowed to be improved if it happen, locking it should stop stat swap and value degredation but not value improvement.

Is it confirmed that locking attributes in the forge prevents the gear from getting higher values of that attribute?

No it is Harder to make good rolls because now you will have 6 stats so you lock only one and RNG with other 5 stats will be crazy

seasonal units take too long to unlock and CC is too strong. 2 biggest problems of this game

Those are there because this video was recorded on the PTR testing server and that version has those numbers, nothing the regular players have to worry about.
the increased stats are a response to the massive power creep from all the new units. More hero power is required for the game to stay playable.
Does it also repair the condition of the armour?
It should as its the same as the current recondition mechanic we have right now.
i already used some math and you need 660 crystals to reforge all equipment once thats a lot
