@Louis Kingsta they still lived together at times, but besides that they lived together for probably 5+ years and js spend time w eachother A LOT in the last past 12-13 years
They lived together until 2022 and moved to their own places after the dorm lease ran out.

To me, this has a very "older sibling watching younger sibling/s getting drunk for the first time" vibe and I love it! Suga's reactions to drunk Yeonjun is so precious.
I don't think Yeonjun was trying to act humble. He just really is sometimes too humble. He gives off this image of a super confident guy and he often is confident.
But I actually think that Yeonjun just tries really hard to be confident. Like fake it till you make it. He often tells MOAs about how little self esteem he had back in school but he tried really hard to love himself more and now he also does love himself more.
But the members even now often particularly mention how they wish that Yeoniun would love himself more and that they wish that he would be a little less hard on himself. They really say it a lot of times.
So I often feel like he tries really hard to be confident but he is a true perfectionist that is never satisfied with himself. He puts a lot of pressure on himself in order to get even better. One interviewer he had an interview with described him like this ’Yeonjun is like a diamond formed under volcanic pressure’ and I feel like this suits him so so well.
As a trainee he had it really hard he trained for 5 years and ranked #1 in all categories for 3 years straight every month. I can’t even imagine how much pressure he felt. He once told us that he couldn’t open up to anyone so oftentimes he called his mom and just cried his eyes out. The other members often tell us how Yeonjun would practice all night and then sleep in the practice room so that he wouldn’t be late for the early morning dance class. Also Yeonjun has one helix piercing and the piercer where he got the piercing was surprised that he had no problem with inflammation because when people sleep piercings often get infected because of the pillows and stuff. But Yeonjun said that he never really slept so that’s why his piercings were fine…
I just admire him a lot he is so kindhearted, humble and takes really good care of his four teammates (or beagles as he likes to call them).
I appreciate the comment. That’s good to know. I do wonder if he does hold back “owning” his accomplishments because it’s not culturally appropriate. When ironically it sounds like embracing the praise and “sticking out his chest” more is what would benefit him/his confidence. Perhaps it’s challenging for him to balance that.
I think he and Jimin have a lot in common, as Jimin went through the same things and finally found a way to balance his perfectionism with a more healthy self love. I hope Jimin can also be a good mentor to TXT and help Yeonjun balance his drive with compassion for himself.
i think the same way. when antis call him a narcissist i can't help but laugh, they got him all wrong. he might joke around about being good looking and talented but that's as far as he'll go. he actually gets really shy when he gets compliments, even from his members lol. he really did work his ass off to get where he is now and that's something no one can take away from him, i hope ne knows that. also i never heard the piercing story that's so interesting!

After the debut according to Soobin Yeonjun started to show is cuter side, as he finally was able to relax a little bit more (even though all of them are busy busy). I'm happy for the fact that he's surrounded by good people who care about him. I hope he takes care of himself, expecially these days.
it feels to me sometimes as if despite the success that TXT have Yeonjun never reached the relaxed part yet. One part is sure that he's a perfectionist, but I feel like there's also some kind of trauma behind it. Like it feels as though he wakes up sometimes from a nightmare that he missed debut and needs reassurance that he really made it. Yeonjun had trained for so long and despite being at the top of trainees every time and a big probability that he would be in the next lineup to debut, there was never a 100% sure chance that that would happen. BH had to always juggle with BTS success, people just think about the positive but it also brings responcibilities. With all the hate thrown at BTS there was always the pressure to not f up with a scandal, or to loose the momentum, what if BTS didn't resign the contract as they wanted to disband at some point? Even with BTS at the top of the game, BH was NOT a healthy company in economic terms, as everything in the future dependet on BTS only. At no point was there a guarantee that there would be a debut. So all of Yeonjuns future in the company hung by a thread for quite a while. Then finally debut happened and it looked rosy and them BAM! Corona happened. The growth of the MOA fandom wasn't automatically assured, as possibilities to bond with fans through fan meetings suddently halted. Their sales went back a bit at some point. Their wins were not so huge. Other groups seemed to have more success. Beomgyu fell in a dark place. Really I can understand how Yeonjun might have felt like all can crumble each day and he never felt like, no matter what all will be good and stable.
Taehyun is way more cold blooded in that sense. Taehyun, despite becoming TXTs voice basically through hard work, can probably see himself in other occupations as well, as he was a top student and wanted to study and become a professor or researcher. Not that the music and stages don't mean less to him, because they sure do, but he's more like well if it fails I'll do this and that instead, while Yeonjun feels to me as if THIS is his thing, and if he cannot do this, there seems to be no sense to do anything else. Yeonjun is also a Virgo and we seem to overthink too much anyways, always have this kind of doubt in ourselves (see the same kind of feelings in RM, who despite all the success always analyzes and compared to SUGA, who seems to have relaxed into a peaceful place, very often has still doubts on his mind).
I find Suga changed once he had his surgery on his shoulder. He has seemed much happier and more active. I’m sure being in pain all the time played a major role in his mood back then.
Taehyun is so eloquent and attentive. Yeonjun is emotional and so impressed by his Hyung. Like these TXT guys very much. Also love that the three of them are drinking buddies and hang out regularly. Taehyun is a really good friend to Yeonjun.
This isn't the first time they've hangout and had drinks together because TXT has mentioned that BTS invite them to their houses and they eat and have drinks together. Yoongi is the one who reaches out to them first outside of work as they mentioned, but I know that Namjoon does too and tries to invite Soobin specifically over a lot to help him with being a leader and all the worries that come with it. It's been 4 years since TXT debuted and BTS had always done their best to reach out and look out for them, so that TXT are comfortable to reach out to BTS first with their concerns, so they've spent some time together outside of the cameras. I'm sure they see each other every single day because they work in the same building, but from the stories TXT share, the members of TXT and BTS do spend time together outside of work and individually. I love hearing the little stories TXT tell about hanging out with BTS because they're all so busy all the time, it's heartwarming that they put effort into spending time together.
honestly, knowing txt for a while now, these kind of introspective conversation aren’t that rare. actually they’re quite common from the members. txt are all about honesty and appreciation
And Yeonjun doesn't hide his feelings - he's pretty open even without alcohol.

One of the sweetest moments to me are when Txt asked for BTS numbers or when Taehyun said Jungkook got him some gloves for working out when he saw he didn't have any and when TxT won a award and Taehyung aka V jumped up like he won. They really are so sweet together.
Jungkook shouted them out early on too and it was great 😁

@@singularity553 Yes! It makes me so proud. Sometimes people who go through something difficult think everyone else should have to endure it too. Sometimes they think it was unnecessarily awful and they should make it better for the next ones. It makes me so happy that BTS is in that second category.

I noticed that with Jimin, RM and TXT he sat on the right hand side and didn’t get up right away. He must see the TXT boys as extended family. The liittle cousins you give advice to but still can trust with the family secrets. At times this felt less interview and more advice from Suga hour.
Bts and txt are family. They have a close relationship. They both come from bighit.

TXT by themselves give people the impression that they will all fit in your purse until they stand alongside BTS members and realize these boys are actually giants.

Yeonjun really does have an obsession over his abilities though. I'm sure from that clip it may seem like he was pretending to be humble but he really has always struggled with wanting to be perfect and not feeling like he's good enough, ever since their debut he's been that way. Even despite all his compliments.
Yoongi's mentioned that he genuinely wants to be a licensed therapist at some point so him enjoying giving advise makes a lot of sense.
Didn't he say one time he want to study psychology or architecture (designing part)? Something like that?
I don't think Taehyun is upset or embarrassed of this Yeonjun at all... Lol... This drunk Yeonjun is nothing compared to what sober Yeonjun had done in front of camera before😂😂😂....He's the most random person in the most random group I've known... When I started stanning TXT every moment with them was mind blowing how their minds work 😂.... They were the best definition of "Never let them know your next move".
I really loved your video, and I'm gratefull how you focused on all three of them equally.
Most people watching seem to focus on Yeonjun's cuteness or Yoongi's hilarious reactions and kinda forget Taehyun. But I think the three of them worked perfectly together. I love how Taehyun talks so sincerely, but somehow forms incredibly well thought out sentences even on the spot. It's like spoken poetry. Meanwhile Yeonjun pours his heart out on every word and brought so much emotions and laughter on the table. Yeonjun and Taehyun really balance each other so well.
And of course Yoongi was the perfect host, and I can't imagine anyone taking care of their sunbaes better.

I loved these two!! They really look like good people. Cheering for TXT.
And as you said, it must be great to be inside Yoongi's world and receiving his care and advice - which boi he loves to give! hahahh
TXT are different from BTS, but you can still feel that all the 5 boys are still good humans. A good indicator is how well liked they are by their staff and how genuine with them (just like BTS with their staff). Absolutely chaotic but still respctful. Soobin the leader was MC with Music Bank and Yeonjun is with Inkigayo (both SK music programs) and both staffs and director from these programs couldn't stop gushing over them and praising them and making little suprises for them. Their co hosts loved them too. And also other idols and people they met along the way, really they are liked by so many people.
It's just as if being an idol for BigHit requires you to be a good human. Because I also love their senior Lee Hyun.

Fascinating! Seeing Yoongi in this role was very fun. I love the insight you bring into these kind of videos. Watching these reactions gives me a deeper appreciation for everyone involved and the format of this show.
If you're curious about TXT being more open, I don't think there are many videos like that but the closest would be their Dream Week series, which is an annual thing like BTS FESTA. That's the only time I recall them being vulnerable on camera. For more Yeonjun and Taehyun (where Yeonjun isn't completely out of it), they have an interview together with Eric Nam. In general the TXT channel has a lot of interesting behind the scenes where they talk about what they do, but it's honestly less communication and more dancing and running from schedule to schedule LOL. They also have some fun Idol Human Theatre videos for every year since 2020, but again it's less communication and more goofing off. It does however give a better picture of their dynamics outside of interviews.
I second DREAM WEEK and the idol human theatres! Imo 2022 IHT is the best view of their dynamics since they are all just relaxing, while 2023 has yeonjun doing a skit so it’s less of a day-in-the-life video.

Namjoon isn't the only BTS member with 148 IQ Suga downplays his intelligence he's a man who absorbs facts like a sponge, he actually takes the time to learn interesting things about the cities/countries they perform in, his main focus is always music but he isnt limited to music.

Tall x Together is one of their nicknames. Thank you for analysis of Suchwita. Two of my biases were there, Min Yoongi and Kang Taehyun. I might quit k-pop as an interest, but I feel sure that in the future if I check in to see what these guys are doing, they will have built musical foundations and architecture worth touring, metaphorically speaking. I’m a little surprised by Yeonjun’s drinking, but they’re young, and I know it’s Korean culture to drink, drink, drink!

I really enjoyed the way in which you pay homage and respect to BTS in the way that you do. I also agree with you about that feeling of warmth and hope from this awesome group of young men. This is especially as we witness the majority of young men exhibiting so much "hardness" and sexism. In terms of your discussion about SUGA, one of his tracks from his album, the song with Woosung (the Rose) the lyrics reflects your discussion and feelings between SUGA and his younger colleagues. I am a 62 year old grandmother who simply loves these young men together with my granddaughters (16,9 and 6 years old). Thank you! This is the song I have referred to "Snooze".
Suga is a really good sunbae, and a really good hyung. Like you said, he enjoys it. I like this aspect of Korean culture a lot. He spends so much of this episode just smiling with fond amusement at his little brothers. 😂
Yeonjun gets sweet and caught up in his feelings when he's drunk. He's always pretty up front about his emotions. TXT are really forthright in general, actually... And very confident overall. They have a really cool relationship with MOA (check it out, it's not exactly like ARMY with BTS and I think you'll get a kick out of it).
Taehyun is particularly confident. You know how you said Suga maybe doesn't need praise as validation? I'd say the same thing about Taehyun. I'm sure he appreciates praise, especially from someone he respects so much, but he seems to genuinely know his own worth. I like him a lot. I especially like that what he keeps praising BTS for isn't their skills, it's their kindness.
Taehyun just thought Yeonjun was funny and everyone made sure he got home safely. It's a drinking show, this is a thing that can happen. 😁 I love that when he gets drunk he just has to extremely sincerely explain why he's grateful. It's not the first time.

And Suga is shorter than Jimin.
I think the shortest in Txt is 5’10 or 5’11 which is either Taehyun or Beomgyu. Yeonjun has been 5’11 for quite some time. The only one who is 6’0 is Kai and Soobin is 6’1

👏🏻💜👏🏻 One of your best! I’ve watched your BTS journey since the beginning when you were just starting to figure Suga out. This video shows that you have nailed his multidimensional personality. He’s definitely worth getting to know. For me, our little Meow Meow (Suga) is the emotional heart of BTS.

It’s interesting to see Suga this way. And If I ever need to choose a Bias, it will be definitely be Yoongi. He in Many ways embodies the kind people a like to spend time with, whether is friendships or relationships. Its good to have people you respect and thrust enough to seek advice. Rm would be a good candidate too. But I also like people who would listen and engage in my crazy mind rumbling… and for that I believe Hobi might be the perfect candidate… you see ? A person cannot choose a bias 😜

Loved your reaction as always. Also today I learned and ig noticed two new things about my ult bias yoongi, ie. him being sure of himself and not needing much compliments as we've always thought him to be just awkward towards compliments, that's a good point; and the fact that he loves giving advice. I've always seen him giving advice to the bts members and armys whenever he comes live, but today's the first time I've actually realised how much he actually enjoys that. That's why today's reaction particularly amazed me. He has previously stated that he's studying psychology and wants to provide kind of therapy or counselling to his friends. That way I relate to him a lot. I'm a psychology student and I've always been into analysing other's behaviour. I've been watching Yoongi for like 3 years now and thought I knew him the best so it's fun knowing something new, seeing things from different perspective. Anyways much love Max ❤

I remember Suga saying he did not really like fishing but Jin used to ask him to go, and he did it for Jin, and the whole time Jin would be giving him advice, and mostly he would just listen because Jin seemed to really like giving him advice. I have been told that I am uncomfortable with praise.I regard praise and criticism equally. Vaguely interesting if I can learn something from it but otherwise irrelevant. To me what is more important is if I know I tried my best. I can be happy with abject failure as long as I know I did my best. If you give praise value...you cant devalue criticism. Other peoples opinions either matter or they do not. I wonder if Youngi feels the same.

Yes, TXT member are tall. Soobin and Hueningkai are the tallest. Taehyun is the shortest in TXT,. still he is taller than Suga.

Taehyun wasn't embarrased, but he sure made all the embarrasing pictures and videos to tease Yeonjun later with it. They always do that, it's even the dynamic between TXT and the fandom MOA to tease each other. But Taehyun refused to show the material right now, they reserved it for some special time, we get to see that on their 10th anniversary. Clever Taehyun to keep the fandom bound to TXT for longer, even if just by curiousity for Yeonjuns embarassement.

yes TXT is known for being very tall. haha they range in height from 5'10" up to 6'1". Taehyun is 5'10" and Yeonjun is 5'11". the tallest member is Soobin. :) and Yoongi is 5'8".

I think TXT are the 3rd tallest K-pop group in average. The tallest (Soobin) is 6'1 whereas the shortest (Taehyun) is 5'10.

I don’t think they’re being haters. Intimidating isn’t necessarily a bad thing. They’re not saying he’s mean or unpleasant. You can be intimidated by a perfectly nice person for a host of reasons (perhaps they’re tall or confident or in a position of power). Suga is a legend and doesn’t act happy to see someone new if he’s not in the mood. That’s part of why we love him. He’s honest. So his lack of positive facial reactions (at times) plus his high status as an artist/person, can be intimidating.
