I'm willing to bet 100% they actually completely forgot they mentioned it. That's how rich people are. They promise things all the time but you have to keep reminding them.
These trunks from the 30's and 40's represent a bygone era when the elite would travel on luxury ships and steam trains for weeks at a time; sometimes they would have 10 or even 20 of these commissioned trunks and cases. Brands like Louis Vuitton, Goyard and Hermes still make bespoke luggage on special order at astronomically high prices but even the wealthy don't really travel like this anymore. Theres no need to when you can be on the other side of the world in less than a day.

The only Louis Vuitton suit case that is fully leather is the red one. That is the Epi leather.
The LV material is vinyl. It always has been. The trim is leather.

Basilique du Sacré-Coeur, or Sacred Heart Basilica, is in fact a church in Paris, lovely place to visit, amazing views over the city. Definitely worth a visit for anyone going to Paris. Love the content by the way

Not sure if it was made clear in the audio but that travel case with the travel decal on the side was from the SS France (I think someone may have said QE2). I have not been able to find deck plan with enough detail to show cabin U53 but will edit the comment if I do.
French luggage made in the late 1930s bought from estates in South America..... I wonder how it got down there, Lufthansa or U boat?

Any vintage perfume dealers in Beverly Hills? I've been searching for a few, Guerlain Metallica and Inoui by Shiseido. You'd be surprised what some vintage perfumes sell for. Just think some day PM from Fragrance Du Bois might be vintage.

All LV trunks and bags are made from PVC coated canvas so AKA vinyl. They do NOT use leather for the monogram material, they DO use it for straps and handles.
