- Been procrastinating this for soo long, but it's finally here :^)
Kind of another crazy arrangement, not as hard as Aishite, but it's still flashy with the jumps and octaves. Main problems are the gamelan section which i have zero clue how to replicate on piano so i adjusted it to simple chords instead. I tried to keep the chaotic energy of Kikuo's songs in the cover as well, not quite sure if i managed to nail it but i think i'm satisfied with whatever i could come up with for now. It's a really tough song for me to do and i'm glad i finally gave it a shot =w=

Now that i hear the melody without vocals i can completely get the vibe it has behind the courtain. It starts with a beautiful soft tone, but it suddenly starts dwelling into a dark toxic melody that stains every note like poison. When you listen to it hearing the singing, the song deceives you with an innocent voice without noticing how devilish it actually sounds - it feels like truly falling into an unescapable abyss

As a piano player myself, this is the type of playing I dream to achieve. The composition is passionate and a beautiful rendition of an already beautiful song. Masterfully done.

I just watch his video real closely as well use that chordify app, to tell me what chords he is using in the song (also play by ear). Then I put it together. Albeit, I've never learned how to read sheet music all my piano life 😅, so I'm definitely no professional. But, I improvise lol

OMG I LOVE THIS SONGGG AHHH, it has to be my fav kikou song, I was thinking of this song on piano and then I thought "wonder if reiva piano will play this some day" AND YOU DID SO IM SO HAPPY. the way you put the song together on notes and in key rage is just beautiful.

Sometimes a random sub would just do up sheets and they're pretty accurate, that's the only way to get sheets since i have no idea how to transcribe my own playing believe it or not 😭

how many years have you been playing piano and how many hours of study do you average per day? i've been doing basically 2 hours for 3.5 years and some of your arrangements genuinely seem like mountains..
it's been more than 15 years now i honestly can't remember when, but honestly i don't practice long hours everyday currently
tbh ik this vid is a lil old but hear me out, reiva's the reason why i'm still playing my keyboard if not, i would've done an apology vid for quitting playing keyboard and start to play my ukulele. again.
