I acquired a stack of magazines and almost threw them out, but thought I better check online before I do. Turns out I ended up having some vintage easyrider magazines that went for $20-50/each! Ended up selling the lot for over $100. Definitely worth looking at everything because you never know! :)
I wanted to thank you for the single most helpful tip for listing: photo room! I was struggling with photographs and this single tip helped me better my listing.
i found an incomplete dark shadows board game a few yrs. ago for $2.00 and it parted out REALLY well. And when you 6' 5" you can carry a purse if you want to. I'm not saying a word down here at 5"9" lol
3:13 Boom! Uh, oh. You know you can't resell this even though eBay allows Penthouse even in the general area and not adult. Yikes!! I'm totally surprised you picked this to show even though it's the most popular Penthouse issue of all time.
@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter Right, I was thinking you might address that and I found you cover that topic at 31:05 in that video. Also, I see at least one other viewer has commented on this already.
I liked the class photos. My Dad was a photographer and he took a lot of the class photos at my grammer school in the 1950s. I actually found two photos that he took in a thrift store a few years ago.
I was really hoping to hear about the life mags, but those were not as big as mine. I have 3 from 1971, holding them for years because I don't know if I should piece them out or sell as a whole. Every page is a blast from the past, let alone the cover stories!
Years of looking. Most Gouda is marked. If this were mine, I'd put at the end of the title Gouda ? or Dutch ? and say in the description that the painting looks like old Dutch ware but I can't be sure because it isn't marked. The clay that Gouda pottery is made from is often brown; if there are any glaze pops where you can see the color under the glaze, that would be a clue. It looks like a "better than a few dollars" piece to me. Carol
As soon as you said Tardis I knew I had to subscribe. I have resold old books for yearss. I bit the bullet this year and flipped to an ebay store and a youtube channel. Had to laugh when you found the Dark Shadows book. I used to edit a small Dark Shadows newsletter in the Philly area in the late 1980's. The hardback Stephen Cosgrove books are hard to find. but even the paperback ones are worth something in good condition.
You have made a Huge difference in my reselling knowledge! Before your vids I did mostly garage sales. With your strategies I'm usually in the first wave at estate sales! Much $$$. lol
@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter sorry that's what i meant. even if they've never met me they say "uh oh here comes trouble" as soon as they see my face. how can they tell?! 🤣 i think it's my eyes 😃😃😃
Estate sales always feel so grim to me. They remind me of the scene in Robocop where he visits his old house him and his family used to live in thats up for sale. Too many ghosts but that’s where the money is. And it’s fun
Great video! Those purses are amazing 😍 loved it when you looked into the mirror holding them 😂😂💕 thanks fir the shoutouts! You’re the best! My postcard still hadn’t arrived so it’s time to grab another & try again. 🙌🏻 hopefully this one will actually show up lol. The ending with all the postcards & appreciation gave me goosebumps! You DO make a difference&& the reselling world wouldn’t be what it is w/out you! Thank you for all that you do. And thanks to Mrs Primetime for sharing you with the world! Power couple! 🙌🏻 you two are tops!
Aww thanks! Yeah, I definitely need to get your postcard up here for sure! You are Wall of Fame material!!! I am glad that the purses passed the Jessy test!
Great vid my man!...two thumbs up for great info. But on a side note: My wife suggested that you should do a contest on TH-cams most annoying video Introductions- where yours is so "obnoxiously loud" and that you would win hands down! (And yes..I actually married her😪 lol) 👍😉🇨🇦
Hi Dom! I love how this video is like a Dominic Variety Show, with behind the scenes intro of Daisy and Mrs PT, then put at sales, then back home and sharing the love from fans 💕💕🐾💥💥💰💰
Crazy.....the opening of walking Daisy (also my cats name 🌼), I thought the area was beautiful and reminded me of my home state. Go figure, uncovered later in video, it is! I'm from Geneva, the Finger Lakes region. 😍 Thanks for your efforts.
Just heads up - do not list the Penthouse September 1984 issue it has Traci Lords in it and it was later discovered that she was under age when the pictures were taken. I found out the hard way when I listed it about 2 years ago not sure why Ebay does not flag it before listing. Anyways I will get back to the rest of the video. Thanks.
@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter I think that's St Augustus, not Ceasar. He's medieval and doing manual labor... not a very Roman emperor type activity. Doesn't look like Gouda to me, which is usually abstract designs and signed. (I could be wrong). Looks more Italian, but that's totally a gut guess, nothing to do with actually knowing!
@@AnnieEbaySchool thanks. I considered St Augustine but he’s almost always shown with a Bishop hat and much older. He’s also referred to as Augustine as opposed to Augustus. Augustus Caesar is always shown young and with this hair style. The item he is holding looks like a weapon but if manual labor perhaps it is meant to show strength. I don’t know for sure but thanks for your thoughts
Love, love, love Serendipity books and those are in great condition! I sold off all of mine from childhood in lots of 5 and they sold very quickly between $20-25. I'd price yours higher as they're in much better condition (mine were heavily stained and discolored, torn). Paper craft people love these for the bright, beautiful, illustrations.
Hi PT, Nice scores at the Estate sales. I really appreciate all your knowledge and BOLO's, you make hunting more fun. THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO👍 Stay safe 😷 & ✌🇺🇸
Leave (MPT) alone if she doesn’t want to be on camera, keep teasing her and we will never meet her! My degree is in psychology and I know you have a “ little” of that background.....ever hear of reverse psychology LOL The TV show Dark Shadows was my favorite, so much so, that I begged my mother to legally change my name to Angelique. I was very young when I started watching that so in retrospect I question why she even let me watch that show?🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪. BTW: I was very touched to see how appreciative and emotional you were by the notes and things you received. People recognize what you do for them, and feel how much you really care about others, it’s a gift.
Oh trust me, I’ve tried the reverse psychology. She’s never coming on so having a little fun with her hands and feet and maybe an elbow once in awhile is all I’m left with. Lol
@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter She’s a smart lady. I will admit I laugh pretty hard when she pulls her hand out of camera range quick as lightening when you mention we can see it.
