You really need to tin the wires as well makes it so much easier. Great vid all the same

I think using a different colour would be a very very good idea!
I’d only used red as any other colour absolutely ruins your night vision, not a good idea when driving at night. Great idea to use the dimmer.
When you solder to the small tabs on the strips a good idea is to keep the stripping of the wires as short as possible. Otherwise they may touch with disastrous results. When I used a very similar strip I used silicon sealant over the soldered wires to hold them in position and make sure they never touch.
By the way I’ve an ongoing problem with my Qashqai, with heater/A-C airflow. It’s intermittent, the worse type of fault, it’s been into the dealers a few times now. The fan is working but no airflow through the vents, next day it’s fine. Last time it happened I videoed it, see my channel on TH-cam, mainly to give the dealer some idea. Luckily I took out the extra two year warranty, bought last s/h it’s a 2015 1.5dci Teckna.
Keep the videos coming, I enjoy the channel a lot.

Great idea! I have a j10 with the panoramic roof, but the blinds are in 3 pieces and go back one over the other. Can i pass through the cable that connects both led strips together or will it get in the way of the blinds?

Nice found! Would be wonderful with RGB as well. Did you had enough place behind the map lights? As I already have both my white as RGB footwell lights connected there I remember it was quite a hassle to put the map lights back with out damaging the cables or connectors.

Hello, you make great videos, your help would be very helpful. So I've connected eight total footwell light off the front dome light connection. For the rear interior lights i have coneection going into the passenger and left rear door for my door panel light, on the right interior light i have the connection going into driver side door and rear right door for the door lights on that. I also have added the boot light. I believe all this runs from the fuse box with 5 amps fuse. My question is how many more light can I connect to that one connection to the front dome light . All has been working fine for months now however I want to add 2x 60" led lights under the car would you recommend i change the 5amp fuse for a more amped fuse? Or would it work fine?

    • @TheQashqaiGuy

If you wire to the interior light and lock the car from the inside whilst driving as some cars have the auto lock fitted once 5mph plus is reached to stop people getting inside but Nissan did away with the feature, do the mood strips switch off 👍🏼
