@@eazidiy Because of your videos I was able to install the same keyless system in my 2009 Corolla. Thank you VERY VERY MUCH! I don't know who you are, but I would like to shake your hand! I wish you the best!!!
Hello i saw your link under the description of your video if where you bought the 3 pin trunk acuator then i click the link but for the hyundai it’s is fit this item to the toyota corolla 2012 model?
I am sorry that, for whatever reasons the link got changed to Hyundai. I have corrected and uploaded Link for Corolla. Please see the new link amzn.to/3Uw6Cq4
hello brother, my car corolla 2009 xli 1.6 L made in japan, i think its a mid option car, i already have factory key less entry system but door lock and unlock key only no trunk release button available on the remote. and i checked the trunk release actuator, it has only 2 pin, connector has also for 2 pin, 2 wire cable came from front. now i want to add a remote trunk release function in my car. need suggestion from you. thanks
Hi, you will need an aftermarket entry system because the trunk actuator needs a trigger signal from the module. If you don't mind, buy an aftermarket keyless entry system ( cheap one like $15) and install it yourself. Also you will need to replace the trunk lock actuator to 3-pin.
@@eazidiy thanks for reply, ok after installing after market entry system, do i have to program the new remote key with original entry system to have door lock unlock function on my new remote key?
The aftermarket system comes with its own key fob which you are going to use to lock and unlock your car. It also have trunk unlock button. I have a video on it on my channel to show how to install it. Let me know if that answers your question
@@eazidiy i have watched your after market entry system installation video, now my question is once i install the way you installed, my previous factory entry system remote key will work?
hello, im from the PH. I have a corolla 2010 (top of the line variant). Upon inspection, my trunk release mechanism has 3 pins already but the connector only has 2 pins (the connector itself is designed for 3 pins but only 2 wires are sticking out). How would i know if my stock trunk mechanism is "capable" of a remote release. My lock/unlock keyfob just has lock, unlock and security key (the red one). Any leads where would i start if i want to install a Remote trunk release? thanks in advance.
Hi, you factory key fob doesn't have the trunk release so it not capable. You will an aftermarket keyless entry module with trunk function. Then run a wire from the aftermarket module to the third pin of the trunk release connector.
@@eazidiy ayt, thanks mate. So locking and unlock of the car can now be accessed by the aftermarket keyfob. This will render the Factory key useless(or a spare), am I right? Thanks for the quick reply my man 👌
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it

Hi, Thank you for the video. Did you use a relay for trunk release?
No. You will need relay depending on the locking system used.
Hi, I just want to ask why did you need to cut the red wire from the actuator?
I used for the trigger wire from the aftermarket system.

Yes, the factory system will work. You now have an option of another key fob that can unlock your trunk as well as unlock/lock your car.

@@osjohnmagpale167 Yes, the OEM key fob becomes backup
@@eazidiy thank you sir!
@@osjohnmagpale167 You are welcome! Good luck.
It sucks that i cant do this with my 2007 toyota corolla ce, damn it!
Is there anyway for me to make it electric ?
There are ways, like using an actuator. There are videos on TH-cam about that.
