90% of the maps were self farmed during random based or cringe strats, I just had them run those. I bought 1-2 sets of 8 mod maps to test, it's a bit more loot, but they fail a higher% of them. It's still worth it I think, if you have mostly Tier 10 teams. It's been almost 2 weeks of not being able to access my Kingsmarch funds because I commited to this, so feels good to actually go and upgrade my character. I'll show the upgrades in a future video :D

Heey empy, I'm curious - howd you liquidate all that currency? Bulk listing tft? Pricing individually on the tabs? Or the new currency exchange?
I hired a trader. Otherwise I bulk sell scarabs on tft, sell some stuff on the exchange and some on trade.

I was looking at my stash tab last night after getting all my Kingsmarch stuff and I randomly got a Mirror Shard from either the mappers or the ship and didn't even realize it lol

Story time:
So when I was doing one of mavens invitations and it dropped a mageblood, without this video I would not have know how popular and valuable it is, so I listed it on the market but I didn't realize that the uncorrupted version was so much more sought after so i listed it for 120 div (the first time I've sold anything in my poe career) and got a barrage of whispers from EVERYONE I ended up giving it to the first guy that whispered me and they, Graciously, gave me 260 div for it. I was an inch away from making a big mistake (I did make the mistake) but what I mean to say with this post is that without this video I wouldn't have sold it at all, I would have looked at it, gone "ah neat" then put it in my stash tab forever

@@brirebear8741 Mageblood is incredibly strong (especially with well rolled flasks with inc. flask effect and such), but there are builds out there that can do all content even on a "budget" and that actually can make better use of different cheaper belts. I play a 15div Frenzy-stacking Trickster using Poisonous Concoction of Bouncing and today beat The Feared Invitation alongside Maven. It also can defeat T17 bosses and do basically all map mods outside certain T17 stuff, most strategies, has great survivability, recovery and good clear and single target, and guess what Belt is used: Olesya's Delight (Cheap Maven Belt)

mappers are nice.
the problem with them is the gold cost, when you have a couple hours a day to play, getting the gold to actually sustain them, and the shipment, and prefereably having gold to have the farmers farm offline, it's SUPER tough.
after my vacation week was over after leaguestart, i've only been able to have mappers run during the weekend. and then even there, it felt bad, because it felt like it was siphoning funds for farmers to farm aswell.
it is what it is ofc, i think gold from t16 is either too low for avg mapping, or kingsmarch is too high upkeep.
anyway, that's just my opinion, good video and hope everyone is enjoying the league :)

Saying "hey, i can only play for a couple hours a day, and i dont feel i can even use the mappers, with how they are currently implemented" thats not a rude thing to say, and im not bashing empy, i love his videoes and how he treats POE!

You can get so much gold easily millions in 2-3 hours, its very easy to sustain them if you dont spend gold on other stuff like trading and recombing

Empy is spending more gold per day than 90% of players have farmed in total since league start just to employ all those mappers and shippers.
You have to keep in mind that anything you get from kingsmarch is passive income you get for free on top of everything else, without actually having to play more.
In previous leagues you would get none of that.
Anyone saying they have no gold issue are just farming t17s, which requires a lot of time and/or knowledge to get there, or they're playing 18 hours a day mapping

For those who don't know, you can 5 to 1 runes to up get higher tier rune
a very intresting thing this probably show to alot of people is how much of your currency is in bubble gum currency. a lot of new and probably old players of the games probably only see their wealth in divines and chaos orbs.
yeah wealthyexile shows it and faustus lets you bulk sell it without it. the reason why people don't pay attention to their 1000000 alts is because it was impossible to sell before, now it's trivial

For anyone who is struggling with map sustain for your mappers, use Cartography Scarab of Corruption/Multitude/Escalation with any strat and it will generate all the maps you need for both yourself and 3 sets of mappers in Kingsmarch. Dump them all into a tab, regex filter the maps you want to run yourself and give the rest to the mappers.
A big chuck of the div that contributed to my MB was from a MB reward valdo map that was found by my mappers.

So, TLDR, Alch and go Red maps for your mappers. Awesome stuff, cheers Empy. Values aren't accurate but the effort cannot be downplayed, cheers for the efforts /thumbs up

I still have no idea how to effectively use my materials, before i was only doing the whole favoured task in one go but that is not working at all now.
It kind of feels bad just waiting to do 50 mil shipments and ignoring the favours.
You can do 1 mil shipment value of raw crops and then add 1 mil of dust. Basically they nerfed loot from materials but dust now affects the loot and you need to add as much dust as shipment value you have from materials before dust

@@kliersheed ben did 50 mil shipment witohut dust and by just comparing other 50 mil ships with dust it is clear that dust now scales rewards (as stated in the patch). Before patch dust had close to no additional rewards (related to currency scarabs and runes)
For me the patch changed nothing, since my strat was no dust small shipments of 1k of all crops to the closest port or the further one if I was going offline. The dust now improves the rewards a bit but overall is just not meaningful changes.
@@kliersheedSources are all us playing the game, this video itself mentioned how large shipments weren't worth and Empy was definitely testing things playing is literally his job.
People complain about mappers gold cost. Yes this is pretty high, but it is the only venue of "free loot" that isn't strictly time gated. 3 map devices running non stop have high throughput, like 12 maps per hour or so (rare T16s). Shippers have much lesser gold cost but gathering crops does take some time (which itself has a pretty high wage too, 18x T9-10 farmers cost a lot)
huh? it's obviously time gated. mappers take time to run maps. at t10 their salaries are gated by your gold/hr. there is a maximum throughput on nonstop running, and it requires ridiculous amounts of farming to do it, which is only interrupted by one of them dying and now you're blowing 20k+ to reroll until you get another IX/X. I guarantee empy has spent more gold on rerolling his slaves than I've made all season
it's strictly time gated
The fact that it takes so many clicks to clear a quad tab of currency even when you're moving all of the same kind in one action is peak poe right there
It's how they sell the game, currency tabs. Literally pay to play with the rest on even ground. Now extra gems and flasks tabs have felt P2W as my friend doesn't want to get them and I made a lot of C just having those as dump tab prices.
@@ArnoldMejia Yes, stash tabs are the purchase price of the game, it's about $40 on sale for every tab you'll ever need. It's a very fair price compared to gaming in general these days, and you get literally the entire game as a free trial to play as long as you want before deciding to pay. You can even pay in increments, getting only the tabs you need when you need them. We all know this already.
The QoL features that allow Empy to clear a quad tab of currency in 25 clicks instead of 200 and click them into his currency tab without switching tabs each time are not part of that purchase price, you get them for free.
Anything else we need to cover before my post is allowed to just be a smile and an "Oh PoE, never change 🥰" as intended?

The 5 mil shipments are better, the bit of testing that's been done people got the same amount of divs from 5 mil as they did with 50m

We almost never go through vods for videos, only if he forgot to clip or record something on stream! There are very convenient features in OBS for this

you have to check amours and jewelery from ship. because when you send a big ship they all tier 1-2 modifiers. i got tons of divine with selling them or recombinating them.

If you put some bars with the large plant shipment I’m not sure why but it always makes it better also I tried a 50 million shipment to kalguur and did a better mix and got 2 mirror shards and 15 div
On my tenth map ever or so, tier 12, they got me a inekora's lock sold for 58 div 😅
So here I thought giga-large ships got as buffed as small got nerfed... No, apparently all ships got totally nerfed! Previously I used to launch all 3 ships asap with 200k+ value and got reasonable loot with some lucky divs and even a good roll astramentis. Now 1mil gets you the value of one t16, minus half a day of resource farming and 10maps worth of gold gone! The mechanicwas so cool, everyone just asked to decrease gold costs... They decreased gains, the costs stayed the same! Ngl I've never seen a leaguemechanic ruined so much during the league, they've always tried to improve them previously, sometimes it didn't help much but it was always improved in some way. I'm pissed. It really WAS the best league.
And the only thing I get back from mappers is "one of your mapper is dead" ...

League mechanic that brings under 3 div per hour.. biggest shit we have been shipped by ggg to date
it's fairly passive though, which means while you're actively making currency they're passively raking you in 3 div per hour. Pretty fuckin' good!

I struggle to get enough gold to reroll and affort Rank 10 settlers. Idk how you guys do it but i always get around 8-10h worth of gold then i go sleep and its back to 0 by the next time i play
Last week alone I've gotten 15D worth of stuff. Divine alone at least 5. Definitely worth your time when u just started.
I got my MB from a ship in day 9 or so before the nerf to the shipments
Don't know if it's relevant, 2 Mirror shards (2 sep shipments) and 6 div both times as well for 10k farm mats, 30k blue zenithium to finish the request and 1.5 mill dust each time

Mappers find divines way more often than me in tier 16 maps. I think they are hacking!

I made trading videos in the past, there was very little interest, so I stopped making them.

2, disenchant uniques. The rarer the more dust.
