I do dark and semi sweet and i also add some coffee instead of water sometimes to bring out the taste of chocolate. And a secret to cutting a brownie is a plastice knife! You don't need any hot water or wiping the plastic knifes just runs smoothly through it and you get a clean cut

You need to get appropriate measuring cups for solids/dry ingredients because the one you used for the sugar was for liquids and they’re different.
