I am glad you posted this. I appreciate it. My son bought the same brand trusting where he bought them from. Sadly, after pulling one apart he was finally able to see what you were talking about and why. Now the trick is to hopefully find a correct set of lights. Good looking out.
I love the videos. You're one of the few people I can find working on a second gen and not making it ugly. A tip to show lights better on camera is to turn down your brightness on the camera you're using. It'll show it a lot better usually from what I've done. Keep it up man 👍
Yeah this sounds like the hassle u kept running into to fix my factory clear lense fog lights...its why i now have a new set of yellow lense fog lights non led but im not spending $325 for the factory lenses and gasket seal nope mine have a new bulb and socket, new lense and housing $27 shipped
DNA Motoring Manufacturing and they work well enough that you can drive the truck with only those on they could use a bit of adjustment but I'm good with them, figured I'd mention that in case others are replacing the fog lights on the laramie slt non quad headlight sport dodge ram because my truck is not a sport either..

I about had a panic attack when you skipped cleaning the roof before installing the new markers. 😬 They look good though! How would you install the mounting holes for the hardware for non cab light trucks?
LOL, I wiped off the loose stuff but I didn't spend a bunch of time on it. As for the holes, I've seen people selling paper templates for Fords...I don't know if anybody makes one for Dodge. Once you get them where you want, you could use a small hole saw for the main hole. For your screw holes I'd use a drill bit smaller than the diameter of the screws and it should work fine.
Would you mind telling me the username of the seller? I've searched high and low but cannot find this set. There are similar ones, but they don't have the "plug and play" connector. Others have a smoked lens, which i don't want. Thanks! That's a fine looking Ram you have

And you can always try some type of a clear coat protectant to keep your update lights looking nice
That’s one clean 2nd gen, could have sanded the old ones and sprayed new 2k clear coat.
