My guest today is Brandon Block
Brandon was born in 1967 in Wembley, a Londoner born and bred. Brandon rose to fame in the late 1980s and 1990s as a DJ and today he's still getting people up on the dance-floor.
His hedonistic lifestyle led him to being given two weeks to live.
He’s hit the media several times. In 2000 at the Brit Awards over a water incident with Ronnie Wood from the Rolling Stones. In 2017 coming out of Celebrity Big Brother after being in there one week.
Now Brandon helps thousands by raising awareness over mental health issues and drug abuse on his platforms: Happy Days and Tuned Out - which gives people a voice to share what they’ve been through and are going through.

Great to see Brandon looking healthy and happy. He's one of the original Superstar DJ's from the 90s and it's great to see he's come out the other side of it a better and stronger person. The humility he shows in this interview proves how far he's come. Keep up the good work Brandon, the work you're doing now is helping more people than you realise.

Love this. Alcohol is completely the same, as Brandon says, and it's everywhere, socially acceptable, legal, and the biggest mindf*ck is, most people can drink normally, and stay healthy, but, for those who can't drink normally, it is pure poison. Long live HOUSE, and HEALTH!!
I'm 41 and Im a huge fan of brandon block since around 1997.. this guy is an absolute general in the game of music and whats hes accomplished is phenomenal. What a gentleman he is, thats from working with others in that field of drugs, crime and so on
I have a huge respect for Brandon, always have always will.
It takes a huge amount to go through this journey and share so publicly. The insights he’s had are a big part of why he’s able to help people so selflessly.

It's not fair to think men should "man up", these derogatory comments from women, some men too. The proverbial camel back didn't break because of one bit of straw, it was the overload of many, too many. My story, shite jobs, managers, broken marriage, crazy ex girlfriend. A good friend dieing, dad in the same year, mum in the next! How did I survive, faith in God yes. But I'm not going on about that. Community, society, break down friends, counselling, family "talk to"!
