If you want a great performance vehicle with maintenance and warranty benefits to match without the stress of worrying if you're going to go home with half a car or no car at all, buy a Hyundai car. I've been passing this Kona on display at the Wonderboom Hyundai and now I want to test drive it. My wife bought a 2021 i20 in December 2021 and I've driven the car more than she has. I love it. The Kona is definitely on my list of possible upgrade choices.

I was skeptical about longevity and reliability of performance cars but you can't resist one of the best warranty offers on market. It pop's man I would never ever think that I can get a street legal vehicle that's affordable and tuned ryt out stock. Good luck guy's but if you consider one, just put your bet and go for it. Such cars are been extinct a long time back and there is no more coming. This thing just spreads smiles and happiness for everyone hops in. Now the haters go rant about the plastic and so but I find it so cool simple and neat as I was looking for a car with no hundreds of buttons and configurations yet drives mad. You want leather and luxury stuff the market are full but forget driving experience.
I drove the i20 N-Line and the first thing I was impressed by was the two-pipe exhaust which makes the Polo R-Line look like a toy with that nonsense chrome detail at the back. Impressive channel
He's good and serves us our local market content but Matt on Car wow is the Top gear of Car review youtubers, no comparison, both in their different lanes.

3:19 the reason for that is because of cost cutting. The RnD that goes into developing the engine and transmission cost alot. Even VW does that. Your GTi is full of plastic materials too.

VW disguises the plastic panels with different shades and textured plastics. That is why they succeed because they do what is their strong point and is identifiable to their brand and heritage.

I think at that price tag we can't accept those plastic dashboards and plastic interior trim. Also, 380l boot space seems small. To put it into perspective I think the polo gti sits at 355l while the Gokf GTI has 374l. From what I've seen compact SUVs are not that practical in terms of loading capacity. At this price tag it really brings into play the option of buying a golf 7.5 R instead.. however since that model is discontinued you'll probably only get a low mileage used one. The TCR is probably a better option for that budget. Overall I think it's a sweet car but still not enough to convince the die hard VW person I am when it comes to buying one. In contrast, the Toyota GR Yaris is something that catches my eye big time outside of the VW product line.
I’ve got one of these, absolutely fantastic car, I used to own an AMG A35 and in my opinion the Hyundai is a much better car, it might have just been my A35 was a bad car, (it really was shite) the build quality on it was so bad that the Mercedes dealer never managed to fix it properly and stop it from rattling, my Kona N build is impeccable, not a single rattle or squeak and the warranty is also 2 years longer.
Nice review, tell me, does the Kona have a soft limiter, I sensed a soft limiter as you were revving it on the intro As for the interior, i don't mind the plastic hey. Just like Audi who dropped their infotainment screen that looks like an afterthought Hyundai will drop it soo as you have seen on the 4th Gen Tucson. I'm guessing the next i30 and Kona will have a new and better infotainment display
