I saw tons of bluegill/pumpkinseed/longear, schools of white bass, so many young largemouth bass with that distinctive black stripe on their tail fins. (and maybe one "good 'un")
Wow, Jason, i had no idea you had a youtube channel on underwater drone footage. I like to watch the go pro videos. This channel blows those others away. Watching your videos from Lewiston,Maine. I hope you and your family are doing well.
Someone told me he lost an Indian motorcycle when he came down the hill to Orland village, lost control, and it went into the river near the bridge which is near that dam. They never recovered it and I imagine it’s long gone now. There was also supposed to be a model-t that went through the ice close to the Silver Lake dam in Bucksport.
Not right in this particular spot it’s so shallow and small pretty much wading or right from shore. I think there’s access further down though that would accomodate a smaller boat.
I listed all the species I saw in the description for the video, I didn’t notice any crappies but there was a bunch of white perch, smallmouth and largemouth, sunfish and some suckers.
Some pretty big bass down there😮
The monson slate quarries would be a cool place to look around. Great video by the way!
Crazy how many fish are in this video! Wow! At 8:23 love the eyeball shot. So funny how they check out the drone.
Still blows me away that I see none of these fish when looking at the surface. Then drone footage 🤯
I agree! It’s such a small little spot and I couldn’t see much for fish in there when I first got there then it’s like oh wow!
This blows me away i still get skunked some days when going fishing 😝
They’re all waiting for the alewife fry to wash over the dam
Such a cool video! It's amazing to see all these different kinds of fish together in one place!
Definitely was some variety there for sure!
Absolutely amazing how many fish are there. Thanks for sharing

Food! I see food 😋 Great footage! PS: roll off some of the high frequ on that drum beat to give it a more mellow feel?

Is there a boat launch into that river area?

Some kid, or person throwing a line here, would have the best day.
Crapy ? Sunfish? Smallmouth bass?

Schools are in session.
I'd hate to be a grasshopper or minnow washing over that dam.
😂 I would think they’d make quick work of it for sure!
Bass, blagh.
