I don’t remember the exact quote but when Lewis says he was comfortable giving away such a large amount of his income to the poor and widows because he was just so grateful God would have him as part of his work, I began to cry. Such a remarkable man. The most reluctant convert became one of the most generous.

It is an understatement to refer to these interviews as treasures. I would not be the person I am without the writings of C.S.Lewis. To find that this gentleman played such a role in their preservation is amazing. Such grace and devotion. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!

Many thanks for interviewing Walter Hooper. I am very grateful for this interview in which Mr. Hooper shared his life experiences with C.S. Lewis. And to you, Mr. Metakas and SITC, for bringing out Mr. Hooper’s role in preserving the C.S. Lewis legacy. I hope many viewers feel as I do, that were it not for Walter Hooper, we may never have discovered C. S. Lewis or certainly known the depth of his literary contributions.

To think that a introduction as short as that to Phillip's book could cause such an impact on one's life... Lewis had this power, though, of really talking to his readers. A connection is established almost at once, as if we were talking with an old friend, immensely learned and full of charity, wit and faith. Such a gift of God!

+Raul Martins We need that power again. Who will replace such bright lights when these have gone out? We need to pray that God sends us more like Lewis and Hooper to refresh us in this spiritual drought. Blessings, friend.

There's nothing virtuous about promoting an untruth. Because Lewis was persuasive simply wasn't a virtue, any more than a salesman is doing anything virtuous in selling.
If you are convinced about the existence of gods based on the writings of Lewis it just that you haven't considered the important facts.

Not so fast. Good arguments do not cease to be good because they are written in fine prose. Take a look at Lewis' Moral Argument for the Existence of God from book one of _Mere Christianity_. Then check out some of William Lane Craig's books and debates for the Kalam Cosmological Argument, The Fine-Tuning Argument, the Moral Argument, and the Historical Argument for the Resurrection of Jesus. If you haven't yet thoroughly familiarized yourself with these arguments, then you yourself need to consider some important facts.

I'm writing to the "open mind" who doesn't agree with Lewis.

Not gods......the incarnation of the Son of God....as a fully human person. Read on the Incarnation by St.Athanasius.
Then Read TF Torrance and Barth.
