Wow! I am watching this video on my Lenovo Thinkpad 8 and this tab has a very crisp display, and seeing your photos from that phone is just unbelievable! I don't know if its my tablet, the photographer or that camera on 640 XL. The photos are really awesome even the front facing camera.
I have never used a windows phone but this one looks solid. Man I really gotta start shooting my videos out doors. They just look so much sharper! anyways, Awesome video Jonathon!

Love the review, agreed on everything but the keyboard and apps. the windows keyboard is by far my favorite, more accurate than anyone out there. the app selection isn't the best, but they don't suck, it's personal preferance, i have basically most apps i need. good review though.
+Montpbm Crawford Agree! I own a Lumia 640 XL. The Windows Phone keyboard is by far the best! I have over 70 useful apps and around 120 games on my phone so I'm not crying over lost functionality. Love my 640 XL. Oh by the way, I'm a sparse user of my phone and a full charge lasts me over 7-8 days! The Windows OS is so amazing that on overnight stand-by, the battery drops only like 1-2% max!

Yes for the longest time I heard this great review...This MS. Lumia 640 XL is a good low price phone - camera lens has a few weak point in Photo's colour accuracy, and image has a sandy look not clean but video work ok. I think I like your review better than the phone itself...right to the point two thumbs up for your review. Thanks

Motorola has never made a camera that can come close to the zeiss optics found on the Lumia devices. Resolution means nothing if images do not come out well the majority of the time. When you combine that with Microsoft's manual controls in the camera app you have an amazing camera.

Yep, the lumia 1020 and even the 930 take same of the best pictures on a mobile phone because of their zeiss optics, image processing, and sensors. The Moto G 2nd Gen is still a great choice for android lovers on a budget though. Even the LTE Moto E.
Why is there a dumb trend to keep calling mid-range phones budget? Lumia 435 is a budget phone. This phone is clearly mid-range, even in the upper mid-range class. So dumb.
+Josh l Nameless how is the storage argument a positive side. Pretty much all lumias support up to 128gb sd cards. And as soleil3gs said the camera and battery are definitely areas where the 640xl excells. I also find its design waay better than the zenphone's. Although tbh if I had to choose an android device I would have gone for the zenphone2, because for this price there are not a lot other options out there.
