Monica I think keeper of night would be right up your alley!! I read it last month and had a blast. the writing is wonderful and I loved how it explored mixed race asian identity in a way that was actually incorporated into the plot and magic system. I'd highly recommend!

It's Crooked House by Agatha as well. Luckily with her books I read them within a night! Also do you play Dead By Daylight? I spotted it on your switch's menu haha. It didn't strike me as Monica-esque game. I also flattened my AC island right before E3 hoping for a 2.0 update reveal, and that never happened😖 And it's remained flattened since, it's been a long wait for the 2.0 update, but well worth it! There is a HUGE trigger warning for fatphobia for one of the chapters. I was personally triggered by it and because of this cannot really recommend the book even though it sounds fascinating.
