@@BlakeHawkinsVA The sound of an old CRT is rather nostalgic to me. Before I became interested in tugs VHS and CRTs were away from life, reusing them again was very nostalgic. I really enjoyed watching Tugs authentically! Cheers for watching!
@@smasherjosh5000 I’m sorry can you please explain a bit better? I simply recorded this on my iPad and due to nature of CRT TVs and PAL video you will see visible flickering on camera, that can’t be fixed as far as I’m aware of. In other words IRL the TV was working fine, no flickering.
@@crtretro Nah, old comment.. I’ve since taken the advice, 25fps is a setting which gets rid of the flickering (and mind you is the true analogue fps for PAL) I’m not going to spend loads of money on a software I’ll rarely use. I’m not a very techie person for my age. Thanks anyway for the suggestion.
I apologise for the squeaking sound my VCR was making throughout the video. This is the machine making the noise not the actual tape.
Oddly, this does feel nostalgic 👍 very cool

@@LesStarport on your iPad's camera can you adjust the shutterspeed to match the CRT's refresh rate? Should be around 50 you have it on way too high
@@smasherjosh5000 I have no idea, but I’ll keep that in mind for next time
@@LesStarportdownload ProMovie also you need to set the frames per second to 50 not 60
