I believe you can unscrew the bottom to replace the magnet, though I've never attempted this. If Polly's magnet is the issue, you can buy flat little disk magnets and glue it on the bottom of her feet.

I think I was seeing if I could break it(but I know I would have been upset bc I freakin loved this toy and didn't really like destroying things I owned so.. idk).. but it didn't break so.. kudos makers you passed the test of a adhd child. I felt that when the magnet caught on polly, child me was like "oh yeah, its go time"

My parent’s close friend watched me and got me on the bus before school at her house along with her own daughter (1 year older than me) and son (1 year younger than me) and got me off the bus and watched me until my parents got out of work every day. Her daughter had this set and many others but I have limited memory of specifics. But when I saw this one I vividly remember playing with it! Specifically the bed with the orange cover and green polka dots, the black dog and the rotating door on the boutique 🥺♥️
This and the big star-shaped one that lights up were my absolute pride and joy. I knew I remembered this one being super interactive with Polly moving around the "set" but my girlfriend kept insisting I'd imagined it lmao. Vindication! If my mum's taken this one to the charity shop I'm never talking to her again...
This is one of my favorite Polly Pocket sets! I’m always excited to see reviews on it. I also can’t wait to get my hands on one, but like you said, gotta wait for the right seller. Great video!
This toy just has an interesting feel. To think that we started off only having rocks and ect (cavemen times) to being able to turn lights off and on and have thing like this toy interests me

The creators in this period were excellent, the details, designs and choice of colors are more than adorable. What is strange is that this set feels very familiar to me but at the same time absolutely not familiar.. from far I could swear I had it but when I see everything closely nothing is familiar. Except the river. Anyway I loved this video :)
Memories are strange that way, aren't they? My sis had this when we were kids and when I showed this to her, she said it looked familiar but couldn't quite remember it.

To my knowledge the only other modern playsets that did this magnet feature was MGA's very short-lived series called Sugar Planet (which is what I grew up with since I was a few years behind you.) But it was only the three big playsets that had that feature: the snow one, the undersea one, and the tropical one. (Which were all, of course, covered in glitter. 🤣)

As previously stated, I would be interested to hear your opinions on the early 2000s compact playsets that come with taller and more detailed dolls, along with the Fashion Polly dolls from the rest of the 2000s and the dolls from the early 2010s. I have written two articles on the history of the franchise. :)
I really considered them but they just don't get me excited. When I see vintage and modern Pollies, I get all giddy inside but feel somewhat disturbed when I see the 2000s ones. I also remember the transition as a kid which made it worse for me, haha!

As a child we boys all fand this so fascinating and envied the girls for having it but we wouldn't admit it openly only to our bests friends because as a young boy in the 90s you couldn't openly admit that you wanted to play with girls toys. But every boy loved it as much as the girls did because it was awesome.
I have the Polly pocket movin doll but not the play set Edit: I got the moving Polly because I bought a set and I got the. Polly doll free and it was like a new moving Polly doll. It’s little weird 🤨
I think you can detach the blue birds on Polly's roof and attach them onto the tree's leaves in the park. All the characters are very beautiful. I love the set. Nice video :) Also, where do you find your Polly pockets?
How do i fix mine? Everything works except for the actual doll walking around, it wont attach to the magnet. I dont actualy have the doll but im trying to use a small magnet instead.
I lucked out and saw a guy giving one to the Goodwill and I said “oh I would die for that “ and he gave it to me, let’s say the Goodwill employee was not happy with me lol
Do you mind if you can try to find a vintage mushroom pie pocket for me I had it when I was like five and six but then I lost it because I was moving rooms because I have a tenant please like I’ve been crying for years and years because I can’t find it 😖😢😖😢😖
I loved this set when I was a kid.. I played with it a bunch, but I don't know why as an adult. Maybe I'm just lacking that sort of imagination, but I can't see why I would want to keep going back to it?
That's how I felt when I started collecting. I felt like they would just sit and collect dust because all I would do is restore them then shelve them, which is why I started my TH-cam channel. That way, I can "play" with them in my videos.
