    My favorite work related spread is something I call the big goal breakdown. I take a large scale goal (like increasing sales 20% by end of year) and break that into actionable tasks, who is responsible for each step, and by when. I also build in regular check ins and trend my progress on a line graph so I can see if I'm on track to hit my metrics!

    Great tips. I like the Today’s Big3. I’m using mine in conjunction with my Outlooks calendar so my bujo is a very stripped down version (in a Field Notes). I really like your time tracking as well. That would be great for someone who needs to bill clients for time spent on a particular project. Great video as always.

    Hi😊, have you dabbled with time ladders, I have often felt that they can be game changer however not many bujo enthusiasts have tried and tweaked that concept. It's a minimalistic concept where one can track time as well time box time at the same time. One can use it as dailies as time tracker and in weeklies as for time boxing ... I would like to see you implement it creating your own version of it.

    I agree work journaling is very useful but ppl rarely do. While writing with pen and paper is better for cognitive stimulation it may not be as practical as noting things down on a computer. How have you balanced "hi-tech" and "low-tech" journaling?

    • @markyourpages
      @markyourpages  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Low tech is my daily doings. Tasks and notes - brainstorming. Then some will get translated to hi-tech using tools like Airtable, Confluence, Miro, and other design tools. I know the analog works best for me but for team is digital so it has to make it back there. At least the important stuff.

    Hey Mark, this year I have had separate journals for work and life but I want to try and have them together next journal. I am moving to a travellers style so might have an insert just for work? Have you tried similar before?

    • @markyourpages
      @markyourpages  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This year I separated a little too but every-time I do, I come right back to a singular notebook. I have a separate travelers for side classes and courses I take - but that’s my extent of travelers / separates recently.

    Great stuff on work you- I am curious to keep a seperate bullet journal for work and personal- how do you incorporate the two if you are doing in one book... and could be a bigger in issue in 2..

    • @markyourpages
      @markyourpages  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for watching and checking out the video. I know a lot of people who keep two for this exact reason. Like the separation of church and state. Personally I keep one for work and will add some life into it - mostly for remembering appointments and things I need to do. I have flexed a bit back and forth. I actually just released my Year In Review video where I talk about the pros and cons and show all that I rocked this past year.

    I've been "threading" in notebooks for around 50 years, without knowing it's called threading.

      Thanks awesome. I’m sure there are other names for it, that’s just the one bullet journal uses. What name have you given it?

      Yeah, you could just make individual collection pages for each.
