For the cabled top you're going to knit I would hiiiighly recommend learning how to cable without a cable needle because it makes doing cables soooooo much more enjoyable. I LOVE that blueberry icecream color I might have to make something in that color at some point...
Aauwwww, such a cute dog you have ❤. Ohhh and that beautiful lace top, I am very curious about the end result. I was inspired about KFO cotton merino too and actually ordered similar colors (expect them to be delivered tomorrow🎉). I ordered Japanese Anemone, Blueberry ice and Soft blue. And so funny... I have also been on the lookout for a yellow that would suit me and I ordered the Elderflower (a merino and mohair skein) to try and see in real life. I am a little worried now actually if these colors will be too cool, as I am a soft summer (and if the yellow is too warm). But I have fun plans for the cotton merino: a low contrast striped Amelie tee (Petiteknits new, yes quite boring stokkinette, pattern 😅) with the Blueberry ice and the Soft blue. And a tee (still on the lookout for a pattern) only in the pink. Had fun with this podcast again ❤
Thank you for your sweet comment!! Those colors definitely wouldn’t be too cool for you, maybe the pink might be a litttleee bright but the purple color I think is right on the line and would be soft enough for a soft summer! Tell me how you like the elderflower, I’m dying to find a true pale cool yellow lol
@@truesummerknits Just received the KFO order :-). Must say, the pink is bright but seems okay for a summer tee (when I have a little tan). The soft blue and blueberry ice are absolutely beautiful and suit me very well. The Elderflower I am in doubt about. It's somewhere in between a cream and a very light yellow. I think it looks okay but I'm not sure if this would classify as a pale cool yellow. The dusty banana, the one you ordered, seems a little more in this direction but I think still to warm for my soft summer appearance. Well the journey continues for a yellow that would work :-)
Make sure to try on the barbroe top early on! I have seen two people having to frog and size down. Just a heads up 🤗
