You should absolutely try anything by Slow Knits by Elina - I have tested several of her patterns & they are always EXQUISITE. She has such a talent for beautiful design & finishing, but she also has a very straightforward way of explaining the instructions that make even the most complicated technique just fly off your needles. I feel like I become a better knitter just by working her patterns.

I love all these plans! To solve one mystery regarding the Jenny jacket- peer gynt is a dk weight which is why she gets a worsted when combined with the mohair. I vote superwash for the doggie sweater because... dogs can be messy lol. Also because i would love to see the vintage sweater video!

Hey! About the blue/gray yarn i think it may have been the lighting inside the store, it's great that you still like it but for future reference try natural light whenever possible. Once i brought brown/metalic pink sneakers because inside the store they seemed black/silver. That pink drop does look great on you and i love the Anais!

Very nice list! I use fyberspates cumulus for a lot of my projects as a mohair alternative. I would agree it's thicker than a standard mohair; it also consumes the fabric a bit more than mohair. it makes a unique fabric!

I can’t wait to see your beautiful makes with your new yarns❤ Regarding your Cascade yarn for your pink sweater, it is usually advised to follow the yardage requirements instead of grams especially when substituting a different yarn. Yardage varies so much from brand to brand and even on the same weight of yarn. So glad to see Noel is doing better 💓

For the honeydew cardigan, you’re actually seeing an entirely cabled fabric! It’s a stitch pattern I’m very fond of because it’s ultra squishy and easy to make when you get the hang of cable-less needles (1x1 cables can be done without even taking the stitches off the needle). They’re a bit of a slog to make though, I don’t know if I could bring myself to knit a whole sweater with the honeycomb cable stitch pattern…

I used to think I hated crew neck cardigans too, but I love them now! I wear them with the top button or top two buttons undone, or completely unbuttoned. Hope that's helpful for you :)

Like you, I don't care for crew neck cardigans. However, I have seen so many beautiful crew neck cardigan patterns that what I do now is knit the crew neck cardigan, button it up, and never unbutton ever again. So, it turns into a pullover with the decorative elements of the button band and buttons. In fact, for one crew neck cardigan I could only find four buttons that I fell in love with, which made the front opening rather "gappy"...it looked wonky and pulled apart. Solution? I tacked the button band down on the wrong wide so it sat straight and neat.
