Artificial intelligence (AI) is a broader field encompassing machine learning (ML), which is a subset of AI focused on enabling machines to learn from data without explicit programming.

We should learn machine learning to stay relevant in the future?

The idea that Machine Learning (ML) is merely a subset of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a notion I find myself questioning. I mean, what does 'intelligence' truly means within these systems? It seems to me that intelligence signifies more than just the ability to follow rigid, hardcoded rules, which is the defintion of some systems that can be categorized as 'AI' according to the video. Ithink that true intelligence embodies the capacity to identify patterns and adapt behavior in response. This definition casts doubt on the classification of rule-based systems, often categorized under AI, as they lack dynamic adaptability - a crucial trait to genuine intelligence. Moreover, terms like 'ML' and 'AI' are simply human-made constructs trying to describe a phenomena, not a "real" thing. These labels, in their attempt to define and categorize, might fall short of encapsulating the nuanced and evolving nature of intelligence in our technology-driven world which is adavancing ever so rapidly.

      Semantics. Nice thought.

So ML is how we create AI
