'When in doubt, take double the dose' That's the first time i heard that and it made me smile :) glad you threw in that proviso! but i have a feeling this is a saying that will come back to my mind when i next trip lol it's like the moment the arrow leaves the bow, you know the inevitable will happen.
your poem is ...to be numb is to be dead, time passes without resistance, feeling time is torture and heaven is found in eternity....beautiful ...the only suggestion i would make is to say 'time *is without resistance'

The sense of 'self is an illusion, is only if you pretend to be something you are not. I think LSD made me realise and love that I was already me being me and now love that even more. - I know you are talking about simulation theory as the world and time but that tangent made me think of my last trip :).
Time is only relative. To a 10 year old, a 20 year old person is old, twice their lifetime in fact! Thats what i once realised when tripping. Anyway great report always love to hear them, peace!

Yes, when you have this inauthentic self built up, LSD can shatter that, otherwise I do find the more I am true to my self, which I agree is not exactly an illusion, the more LSD helps me to love those things that truly make me, me.

This is really great. Fascinating. It's refreshing to hear someone speak so openly and clearly about their experiences. I think you can gain a lot of insight this way. Did you feel as though you were communicating, or "mind-melding" with all life? I've seen stuff before that looked like organic molecules, and structures within cells, structures you find within tissues of living plants and animals. It was amazing, overwhelming. There was so much life. Unfolding before me. I asked it, "Did you create all life? Are you god?" then things got good and we had a heart-to-heart.

I have experienced something like “mind-melding” with all of life before, but not in this particular trip. I’ve maybe felt it more on mushroom trips. I feel more connected with all varieties of life while on mushrooms, and in some of my deeper lsd experiences I have felt interconnected with the entire cosmos and experienced what I call “the mind of the universe.”

I love to hear more about LSD, always wanted to try Lucy. But, I'm afraid I've only tried the shroomies, so is nice to hear more about acid

Those fancy glasses shown in the beginning remind me of an experience I had while tripping with a friend before. To set the story up, let's clarify that her eyesight is lackluster at best and her glasses are rather strong accordingly. We were out in the woods and simply walking around for a while, being fascinated by our surroundings and sharing thoughts, as one does. Eventually, she decided to put off her glasses and was blown away by how pleasingly interesting and unfamiliar her unfiltered eyesight was in that moment. Obviously, we also decided to have me put her glasses on and see what happens. It was a lot to handle to say the least. Compared to my natural field of view, it looked like my arms and feet were no more than a few inches apart. Everything just seemed so close and walking suddenly became a lot harder, as I felt like the control over my body was falsified a lot due to all the circumstances. Things having had slight movements to begin with obviously didn't help out much either. Simultaneously, I was able to see my "normal" world around the frames of the glasses, which made it even weirder to process. We ended up playing around with that concept a lot that day. It turned into nothing mind blowingly deep, we just had some fun and goofed around in the end.
I'll probably end up touching upon the aspects actually brought up in this video some other time, I'll have to hit the sheets for now though. Thanks for sharing your interesting thoughts, as always :)

This may be un related but I still want to share. I named it LLC. Linear Location Concept. What that means is that when the day begins at 12am, you should be in your bedroom. If you step out of your bedroom for any reason whatsoever you should not return to your bedroom the entire day unless you are ready to sleep for the remainder of the day, hence the Linear in LLC.

I came up with this analogy for how now feels like now. It's like a projector screen is now, and we are being projected as now but there is this like train going by the screen, that train is time. But we live in the projector. I dunno ha

everytime i take lsd it feels like i'm not in a specific moment but in a span of let's say 10 seconds at the same time / simultaneously.
the higher the dose the longer the span, but yea time distortion is both crazy and one of my favorite thing next to the visuals and my mind racing.
i'm not quite a fan of the come up 1h to 1h30 in because of the body load, i feel sleepy and cold often, but once that's past i have a really nice time generally.
i don't mind lsd lasting a long time because i enjoy it up until the point i want to sleep and cannot and have to wait hours before being able to do so, for me it is at least 16h with no sleep so i try to always do it first thing when i wake up when i do it.

I find that poem kinda disturbing actually 😂. Like, heaven is eternity, but time is torture? So heaven is actually hell? Or are you saying eternity equals stepping outside the passage of time?

Hmm there’s a variety of meanings in it, I was trying to touch on the paradox of time and the paradox of opposite ends of a pole being the same…but it’s a poem not an essay lol part of the beauty of it for me was that it feels true and familiar yet my mind can’t make absolute sense of it.
