A strat I figured out for surviving the Great Swamp early on is to nab a Viper 5 as soon as you can, take it back to Gray (the Clear Sky tech), and have him caliber-swap it to 9x18mm. I call it the "MakViper" because it's a Viper that's been "MacGyver'd " to use Makarov ammo. It definitely makes you a contender against all bandits and renegades early on. Same strat works in older versions of Lost Alpha. 2:09 Inventory and trade screen are transposed for no apparent reason. You can't dodge pseudostomps with perfectly timed jumps for no apparent reason. You can't aim modular grenade launchers for no apparent reason. They added an unnecessary pump to the end of the reload animation on the Chaser 13 (if there's a round in the chamber, you don't need to pump it) just to conform to that video game shotgun trope that's been around since the '90s. Scar and random NPCs twirl loaded pistols. And pistol iron sights are replaced with mandatory "point-shooting" for no apparent reason, rendering pistols almost useless (not for you, apparently, which is impressive). Those are all deal-breakers for me. 'Shadow of Chernobyl' is the best of the core games. 3:42 They might as well have made NPCs able to use grenade launchers. Some mods feature that. You definitely want grenadiers fighting alongside you rather than against you. 6:32 Ackchyually, that style is called chanson.
The problem is people view the games as a trilogy when in reality it's not a trilogy. SoC is the only stalker game released so far, CS and CoP are basically expansions that build off the main game. CS is an expansion that serves as a prequel that uses the main map from SoC that focuses on factions. Both expansions have plenty of content to enjoy.
I know these games are first and foremost PC games, but I'm playing Clear Sky right now on my PS5 and it runs flawlessly, and the controls work very well.
I played SOC and COP on PS5 and loved both so much. I'm playing Clear Sky on Series X right now. I didn't originally buy it with the console trilogy on my PS5 because so many people complained about it. But after playing the other 2 I wanted more so I bought it for my Series X. Just goes to show it all comes down to our own individual opinions because so far, it's my favorite. It just feels, sounds, and plays the best to me. It feels different. More immersive. Even the sounds...like footsteps etc. are better. I don't know, I just love it.
Damn bro, night vision gets you every time😅 don't rely on it to much though, some types of NVGs are better than others, sometimes I'd just turn it off and use the flashlight to see more clearly.
Never have i played and replayed a game due to it crashing our bugging out so much but still being so excited to boot it up and discover more our look up paths to make it easier our want to hone in on every combat encounter as someone playing on ps4 pro i can recommend it this but only for people that are kinda masochist just they are still updating just got out of the red forset after trying to figure out what proper suit to get and i love knowing i have more to go
Always knew Dr Phil would be leading Clear Sky.

Yes it is always worth playing the stalker franchise. Hopefully 2 will come out soon
Liking Stalker 2 right now ? 😌👍

Crazy how there isn’t a way to rest and pass time. When it’s night time it is super dark, and the flashlight definitely gives you away.
I would love to play this game, I played the first one for like 30 hours and loved it. Problem is clear sky always crashes on startup. sad face

A 10 year old spiky headed kid once shot a bird out of a tree with crooked sight
What a cold blooded killer 😭
Definitely worth it. I love all of these games, upgrade your weapon ASAP and take your time!

Nicely written review and your delivery was good too. I did find the background music track kind of annoying and repetitive however (just fyi).
Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it 💪. You're helping me make better videos
@@RemisVancosid Can you tell me the name of the song please, I like it :D

I fell in love with SOC but clear sky is shit compared to it idk why but i can't bare with it
Fair enough. Did you reckon the upgrade system in clear sky was a worthwhile addition though?
Clear sky is quite good everyone shits on it cuz they suck
