That is some curious traveling you are doing which you noted on the map at the end where you are presumably still in your Forester, but were able to go from Florida to Texas to Arizona without stopping at the states in between!! How did you do that?? Does that Forester have some advanced tech to skip over states? Amazing!!! Let me in on your secret I promise I won't tell anyone!!
Too bad you decided just to go with the contiguous 48 states area instead of including Canada or other ABA Big Year areas. I say that as you are so close to Nova Scotia and there has been a Gray Heron and a Pink-footed Goose seen for several weeks. There is also a King Eider not far from the Gray Heron. There was a Tundra Bean-Goose seen often in the late fall with a large group of Canada Geese and I suspect will soon be found again for people's 2024 year list. I will watch your progress with interest.
